Well that was shocking. Had Gerrard scored the penalty and Liverpool had managed to claw back it was still a woeful performance. By the time Gerrard scored quite a few players had long given up and were going through the motions.

For Henry and Werner, the decision to relieve Hodgson of his duties is not a difficult one now. I would say most of the fans would like to see that tomorrow and Kenny brought in because frankly it doesn't get much worse than this. This league season is a write off now. Bringing Kenny back in now would not be a risk at all until the end of the season. We must just hope that we can do something in Europe or miraculously in the cup.

But despite what must be the imminent departure of Roy Hodgson, I feel that there is a serious amount of work to be done. Too many players are either disinterested or not good enough. One thing is for sure someone like Kenny will not accept that kind of lack of effort or quality at this great club.

Completely at rock bottom now. Lets hope for some good news tomorrow. Perhaps not entirely Roy's fault but he isn't going to take us any further. Let's give Dalglish a go and see some pride back in the team!

Probably not going to get a long-term manager in until the Summer anyway so if they are going to put in a caretaker type then why not Dalglish? Honestly I don't think he could do any worse than Hodgson.

Well if he can't instill a bit of pride and passion in them no one can.
I have to admit I feel a little sorry for Hodgson,he didn't take this job to make a balls of it on purpose.
I'm pretty sure he is doing his best,his best just isn't good enough.
It can't be easy for him or his family to listen to and read some of the stuff being said about him.
