Yet more internet/twitter/text messages that Roy is gone/going. One of them names Alex McLeish as been approached or rather Birmingham have been asked if LFC can talk to him.

Bensars

Mc Leish wouldnt be a bad shout. You would expect him to go in clear out all the premadonnas (SP). Think it would to be for liverpool to have a manager of this character and the team playing with a bit of balls. They have been a sad reflection on professional sportemen at times over the recent past.

I said before Roy was appointed that McLeish might be a decent candidate and I still think that, maybe not the big name some might be hoping for though.

Wouldn't be fan of McLeish myself at all. Birmingham play arguably the worst football in the the top flight. Not to mention until they won at Blackpool last night they were in the relegation zone. Hardly screams out future Liverpool manager to me.

I backed Roy to be next to get the chop last week @ 15-8, I just done him again there @ 5-4 so the bookies think something is going on...

J OGorman

Martin O'Neil - irish (not a chance, never rated him etc)

Alex McLeish - not irish (lets get him in, could do a job)

the mind boggles

I had absolutely no reason for him staying but you've just given me one (at least for a week or so till Newcastle sack Pardew)  ;D  ;D  ;)

jesus lads, i cant see someone like mcliesh being the answer at all, not really an improvement from hodgson.

i would like to see dechamps or rijkard someone like that.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Liverpool are not a  good enough prospect to attract the quality you mention. Why blot a good CV ?

Rijkaard has been sacked/"mutual consent" by Galatasaray has he not? So it's not as if he hasn't already "blotted" his CV.

You walk into a bookie and put 100 quid on yourself to be next manager and you'll find yourself one of the favourites. Sorry to piss on your parade but the bookies will slash the odds for the smallest bets on managerial markets.
