Imagine a call of nature after you just got to the top. ???

use a bucket like any crane driver

What do you do with the bucket?

Scientific question:
If the crane driver was on the guinness and got rid of it the next day into the bucket. If he decided that the stink was too much in the cab so he threw it out the window.

what speed could the turd possibly get to making the following assumptiions:

turd is approx 500g (soaked in piss)
drop distance of approx 800m
the conical end of the turd goes 'head first'

Tha should be in the "Questions you are afraid to ask" thread.

You'll get a ban for that kinda talk  :o

As for the question at hand - Speed = Distance / Time. Or:

I don't know how to paste in photos here but Yosmite Park in Caiifornia-looking into the valley  is breath taking with the sheer rocks there. People from all over the world go there to do the rock climbing and would even tie up overnite on the vertical rock. They look like tiny ants from the ground. If you doubted the existance of  a greater power this place is persuasive. Has any one else on the board been there?    I never was one for scenery and all that but this place near had been in tears.. is overwhelming..

Incorrect as at  800m the turd will reach terminal velocity
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Aye, but we don't know the Time either, so to work out the speed we'd need a secondary equation to help us work out acceleration from a standing start.

a = F/M

Where F is the force and M which we know is the mass = 500g

Then we still don't know F but I'm sure gravity and wind resistance will have a bearing so i might need to make another assumption on the wind resistance as at the heels of the hunt it is a hypothetical question

SidelineKick

Gravity = 10 as far as I know, so 10 x 500 = 5000

5000 x 800 = 4,000,000 m per second.  Sounds about right.

:D

And to think I used to be good at physics!

Some buckos indeed - all built with pretty much slave labour I've heard?

Absolutely true - workers are mostly Indian / Pakistani / Nepalese and they are treated like absolute filth - most will be earning mo more than $300 a month (if lucky) and living in rooms with 20+ co-workers.  You would see new lads arriving in the airports now and again and they are pushed and herded around like cattle.

Quite a few deaths on the sites in the Middle-East due to the lax safety standards on these big jobs - the outlook is workers are easily replaced !

Not "absolutely true" given they are not slaves. The "buckos" set the pay and the conditions and then its up to the workers whether they take up the offer or not.

Think you're right, did a crowd of Irish fellas not buy England or Britain?? Thought I heard that somewhere.  1-1 now on the invasion scores.
I wonder did they did a wee moat where the border is? ;)

Which one, the Welsh or the Scottish?
Don't be silly, I mean the only international border on these islands!! ;)

Tonto you have an awful squint there, did you poke yourself in the eye?

One of the hazards of being well-endowed, I'm afraid ;)

Also one of the hazards of having it on your forehead  ;) :D
