QuoteIndeed but you started getting on like a personalised reg owner about your thread.

It's not that deep.
Are you still upset  about that OCS thing? ;)

I'm  beginning to think Gallsman and MR2 are the same person  :D

Enya upset me most.

A precious seoid of our island. Hung out to dry in a thread of nothingness.

OCS non-inclusion just compounded it.

You act like you care.

There's a lot of them about alright but that makes no difference to me.

A lot of arrogance and 'look at me' type attitude.

A bit like chapel - a fashion show inside and a motor show outside.

All for show.

I like the plates in the south with the year and county.

Agree with all of the above, nail on the head re chapel / mass.

Even getting to the stage now that Mum, Dad and the children all having a similar reg starting with the same 3 letters or ending with the same 4 digits.

I drive what would be best described as a heap of shite and has a random reg, however will be mortgage free in 2 years time so happy enough how I have prioritised my £ in recent years.

I remember the dad of an ex of mine had 123 SBE, for the kids' initials, on his Jag. Would have been in his 50s and a prominent enough solicitor in Belfast. Not some cowboy from Tyrone or South Derry in boot cut jeans racing around in an Astra.

The ma's Merc had 321 EBS.

Just shows that being a dickhead cuts across everything. Geography, race, religion, class, status, age, sex, whatever. An ageless truism. If you've a personalised reg, you're a dickhead.

Friend of mine was gifted his initials and the number 30 by a relative for his 30th birthday. What's your opinion so I can let him know?

Dickhead? I'm settling for it now, hoping she's going to like it ;D

At least there's a half excuse these days with  people needing to be noticed on social  media..look at me syndrome.  But what was  the excuse before? Sounds like the country  is full of pretentious arseholes

So Mass is like that  every Sunday then? It was always the Christmas morning mass  that was only like that.  Not being a mass goer now , I wouldn't know.

It's not all bad though:

Let's be honest anyone that doesn't have a personalised license plate has failed in life. It's now a mandatory requirement and anyone without one needs to have a good hard look at themselves instead of begrudging those successful people in life who have worked hard and achieved.

The ultimate dickheads are those that sprit to the sun beds at the hotel once the gate opens!

Who actually cares? A personalised number plate starts at £250 ffs. It's not a status symbol at all, half the young lads in our club have went and got them. Each to their own, I'm sure plenty on here have indulged themselves in much more extravagant luxuries.
