Burn The Rule Book & Write A New One

This started off as a great thread, I'd love to see the rulebook rewritten. It would come under some political scrutiny in the north of course. However the rules of the game and disciplinary action procedures need a clean sheet. I'd be a big fan of rugby style refereeing in their approach to disciplining those that give refs crap. Refereeing may well be the biigest issue affecting enjoyment of the game. With a new rulebook new policies could be brought in which would encourage non Sado Masochists to take the job.

Completely agree. New rule book coupled (hopefully) with a new attitude to it on AND OFF the field. Who knows?
