Mind my old man telling us about being in a supermarket with his good buddy Jim and wondering what he was at going along the shelves in the wine section turning each bottle of red 180 degrees...he was hunting out the 14.5 percent bottles, didn't matter about grape / price / region

I have a couple of bottles of Amarone della Valpolicella in, from Tesco. It's normally £20 a bottle, but even better value @ the 25% off sales. The problem is that it's a mere 15.5%.

Got gifted 6 bottles of red and white Lebanese wine.

Anyone tasted it before?

Trying to decide if I should drink it or 'gift it'

There's one particular brand, Chateau Musar, that James Nicholson of Crossgar currently keeps. I remember getting a bottle of it, years ago, from an off licence on the Antrim Road in Belfast, that was associated with Direct Wine Shipments. That was definitely corked, so I haven't tried the Lebanese stuff since.

If it's Chateau Musar I would keep it

My local wine place does a lot of Lebanese wine. I generally go there for wine, great range of stuff, but when the deals are on at the supermarkets it's bonkers not to get some..

would have a Naked wines thing going as well, only £25 a month, hits £100 and it allows me to pick some different stuff.
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.
