What are the thoughts on AI?

Will it be hard to work out what's authentic, especially with the arts?
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

God only know where it will end, but anyone with a brain has a good idea.

The whole education system is going to change.
There are things you won't have to learn.

I thought we'd be much further down the road on that than we currently are, even without AI.
Education is very traditional and slow to make such changes.

South Park and the Panderverse. Watch it.

I'm not a South Park fan let alone a fanboy.

But the sub-theme running through this movie was that AI doesn't have arms. So e.g. it can tell you how to wire a plug. But someone still has to wire it. And most of us don't have the initiative / confidence / interest / tools to do simple handyman tasks.

Being useful with your hands is going to be more important than being good with your head. It just feels inevitable.
