A load of boys needy just stop watching the game...can we not have 1 big massive thread for the negative hures. Every thread on here is the same

This was meant to be a positive thread.
But even when we get a good game now, we have people complaining. I blame the media, because instead of analysing the contests, Breheny (in particular), Spillane,  O'Rourke etc spent years analysing they "quality of the game". Does this happen in any other sport to the extent that it happens in Gaelic football? But the media have normalised it to the extent that the "quality of the game" is now often the bigger talking point in public and now there is now excessive debate about rules. It's the same effers that have constantly driven a debate on championship structures. I wish they would just button it for 1 year and watch the contest. If they aren't enjoying it, go and report on tidlywinks.


Anyway, I suspect that if it were gone they'd miss it - remember the summer it didn't happen.

How about when a team   comes over the half way line , they have a certain amount  of time to  get a shot off, say 15/20 seconds

It would  cut out all this  sideways and backwards handpasses , and basically teams pissing about  with the ball , and getting  nowhere. While the rest  of us lose the will to live

Defending team gets their 15 men behind the ball and keeps the attacking team out for the 15/20 seconds and they get the ball back. Repeat for 70 minutes.

Sure that's what  is currently happening anyway. Only  slower.

So I'll need a stop watch for when players cross the halfway line, one for sin bins, one for just normal running of time and another for subs injuries and stoppage's...
