SA should certainly have got the early yellow, but they reckon Ireland could've got a couple more yellows themselves. I suppose the ref. didn't want it becoming even more ridiculous so had to let a couple of things slide.

As I say no issues with the Irish cards and there could have been one more I thought but the point is does it get to that stage if the other calls had been consistently applied? I suppose we will never know. I suppose we will never know what might have been

Ireland get Scotland,Uruguay and Portugal in their group of four.

New Zealand in group a with Australia which will be the tournaments opening match.

England get Wales in their group.

Although it's starting in under 2 years, and a lot can change in between, England look to be in a very strong position with their group and their knock out fixtures.

England got the best draw of the big teams. Ireland didn't do too badly.

New Zealand and South Africa will be raging at having to play each other in the quarter finals. I think New Zealand should throw the opening game against Australia to get an easier path to the final.
