I know London and NY have big Irish communities, but why do they only compete in the AI football c'ship? Why not Boston, Chicago, San Francisco or uk teams such as Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham etc? Just saying, like...

There's huge problems in getting county teams together in many international cities/counties and to be fair most of them wouldn't be within an asses roar of any county team from home anyway. Funding and training a county team to the standard necessary to compete would be beyond most international counties.

Teams like that should be playing in their own competitions. British teams should be in the British championship. American teams should be in an inter-city American championship.

Zulu

Well they are to a degree, in Britain anyway, but the winners then feed into the junior championship where I don't think they've ever won a game. I agree though that international teams should be looking to develop their own competitions independent of Ireland rather than look to feed into Irish ones.

Rossfan

Whatever about London who also play in the Qualifiers and NFL it's definitely time to end the NY farce.
