For me it's a few things. (But I should have said I don't 'hate' him. I wouldn't run him down in my car or anything.)

The fact that he's an RTE Luvvie, who only seems interested in interviewing his fellow luvvies.
The fact that he has zero interest in researching anybody who isn't a luvvie. His interviews of various sports people have been painful.
The fact that he is part of a 'connected' family in Dublin and therefore has probably been greased all the way.
The fact that he shags Aoibhinn Ni Sullibhean
The fact that he gets to play with all the toys on the LL toy special.

Plus, look at him, jaysus, just look at him. A friend of mine used to say about a lad from Clara, 'He has a face you'd never get tired of slapping'.
