Ive heard Michael Duffy (Sligo) has got  the minor AI final. I have to say i was shocked when i heard this as ive never rated him as a ref. Too whistle happy and dictatorial.

I heard the former snooker great was getting it.

Barney

Michael Duffy?

The man is a liability with a whistle.

REDCOL

Jimmy White was getting it until Down qualified, now after Gearoid thought he would get it, they have given it to David Coldrick

magpie seanie

So its ok for someone from the same province to ref a semi final but not a final?

REDCOL

Its the make up rules as you go along association

SLIGONIAN

How on earth was Jimmy White considered? Ive just watched the first 22 mins of the connacht final for the first time and so far hes been ridiculouly biased against us.

He was disgrace in the mayo game aswell.

Being biased against Sligo would probably help him or at least/worst be inconsequential.

I hope it goes well for him and his team . Question how many of the current Down and Cork teams played in the 2009 u21 final ?

Mourne Rover

The present Down squad includes Fitzpatrick, Maginn and McComiskey from last year's u21 final. I think the Cork equivalents are Walsh, Sheehan and Colm O'Neill, but I'm sure someone can confirm this.

Not "The Artist" Kinneavy or the woeful Sludden, so I am happy!

Is it true that himself and Corcoran graduated from the Ladies football ranks? No wonder these 2 never let the whistle out of their mouths.
