Perhaps. But Munich in 1960 wasn't looking back to 1945 but was looking forward to a decade of economic growth.

At least they had the marshall plan what did we get, our water rates put off for a year and a report telling us that they economy needed less reliance on the public sector and more on the private, but no mention of how to actually acheive this (and a f**k you to a proposed lowering of corporation tax, just for good measure). Oh and i nearly forgot we got an investment conference 'read junket' for american businessmen. Thats us sorted then  :-\
