What makes the fight with Pacman more interesting is that Pacman is a southpaw.  Mayweather had his problems in his fight with Zab Judah and you would imagine Pacman will be a better boxer than Judah.
Beer, now there's a temporary solution!!!

Yup the contrasting style of makes this fight on paper an absolute classic and I've changed my mind about the winner about 3/4 times already. Financially it makes to much sense for the fight not to happen but the problem is Manny wants to retire soon and the fight is running out of time, Mayweather cares about his O too much and his drug testing is unreasonable to at least his camp.

Problems with Judah? Not too many.

How is his demand for proper drug testing unreasonable? It should be mandatory.
Certaainly, pacman's refusal to submit is alarming and raises suspiscions. Pacman has definitely improved exponentially as a fighter in recent years

I cant understand why Pacman wont just take the test. We dont know the ins and outs of it but from what it showed on 24/7 was that the testers turn up on random days leading up to the fight and get a urine sample and blood sample and thats it. No big deal. Maybe its Pacman who is dodging the fight and not Mayweather.

Why should Manny be dictated by Mayweather's insistence of these blood tests which AREN'T the norm and AREN'T sanctioned by the boxing commission ? Pacman has already said he'll take a blood test straight after the fight and within a 14 days before the fight. My take on it is that Mayweather is trying to put the fight off and duck out of it like he has before because he is scared shitless to lose his 0. Manny could give 8 litres of blood and I bet my bottom dollar Mayweather would find some other excuse to duck the fight. Mayweather would be favourite for such a fight and rightly so, Manny is canvassing at the minute and will have his priorities readjusted in the coming year.

Bob f**king Arum is another problem but that's another story.

If the fight took place now at welterweight, I'd strongly fancy PBF, would give him an 80% chance of winning.  Pacman has only fought once at the weight, and it wasn't even a proper contest.  PBF is seasoned and very comfortable at the weight.

It will be difficult for either side to be seen to cave in to the other at this stage which is gonna be difficult in terms of making the fight happen.  If Pacman agreed to the blood testing and agreed to fight at PBF's preferred weight (welter) it would seem like he is making all the running.  I think he would only agree to some form of extra testing if PBF came down to a catch-weight, say 143lb which is the weight Pacman fought his last couple of fights v Cotto and Clottey.

As far back as 2003 Pacman absolutely demolished Marco Antonio Barrera, a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Barrera imo was an absolute shadow of what he was circa 2000.

Froach has improved Manny tenfold though I agree.

I would agree with you on that.

Anyone ever been over to Vegas to see a big fight? Me and the aul fella have talked about going sometime. Would love to go but it would cost some money.

Would love to do the same.  Think Galwayboy or someone like that was at the Mayweather vs Marquez fight i mind him posting on here.

Ya I was over in Vegas on holidays in September and the fight was coincidently on the same week.  My friend doesn't like boxing so I went along on my own.  Luckily I was sitting beside two other lads who were also on there own.  We had great craic, a few pints along with the boxing.  I had good seats and my ticket cost $300 but well worth every cent.  I'm half thinking of maybe going back if the Mayweather/Pacman fight ever happens.

$300 isnt as bad as i thought it would have been for a ticket. I would say it would be hard to get a ticket for the Pacman Mayweather fight if it does happen. i would give my right arm to go see that.

There was cheaper tickets as well.  The next price after mine was $600.  But some of the people that paid that were only sitting three or four rows in front of us so our tickets were just as good as them.  The ringside tickets were over $1000.  Amazing atmosphere.  I got my picture taken with Mayweather Snr later on after the fight which I was happy with!  You might even see celebrities going around the casinos after the fight.  Also PBF had a massive party in the nightclub in the MGM later that night and the tickets for that looked harder to get than the tickets for the fight!
