Itchy

Well for one, a stone wall penalty in the last few mins was denied to Cavan by Golderick.  Our shooting was also cat which ultimately cost us both points. I wouldnt expect a shooting performance like that again.

After Monaghan's great win in Mayo last weekend I expected them to beat a depleted Cavan team quite handy.
With Mayo beating Kerry away as well, it was a strange weekend of football but conditions were terrible.

Is right, and there'll be another turn or two in her yet, as always is the case..

Dour affair in Castleblayney
14:20
Cavan and Monaghan failing to set the pulses racing in Castleblayney, which is a shame for those in attendance in the cold conditions. Coming up to 20 minutes gone and Seánie Johnston's free remains the solitary score.

Mongahan struggling to get any quality ball into Conor McManus. Scoring chances few and far between.

Leaving this here for Main Streets attention. The crowd must have been on the edge of their seats for those first 20 minutes ;)
It must have been pretty dour alright.
According to The Irish Times,  "Monaghan and Cavan played out an agricultural 0-7 to 0-7 draw in Castleblaney." ;D
