Antrim should have too much for Kerry but won't get it their own way, by 4 points

Carlow will be too good for Down, I'd hope Down could keep the margin to 7 or less, but I'm being hopeful

Laois will be too strong for Westmeath, 5 or more.

Limerick just about shading it over Clare in the local derby. they'll be out to make amends for last year and impress O'Grady early on.

I never agree with a Ballygalget man. I'd go for Kerry (great progress last year and it's a long road from Antrim)

Carlow too strong for a very young Down.

Laois and Clare to win the other two narrowly.

This Antrim team is getting better. While my head is saying Antrim by 3/4 points my feeling is that Kerry may be could steal something. This is providing they have bulit on last year. No kerry hurling lads (hens teeth) on here to give us a view from the kingdom. Are Kerry playing in the Munster championship this year?

Win for Antrim 1-15 v 0-12 certainly didn't have it all their own way and were behind at half-time.  Still a win is a win and that's what was needed.
