I know most people get the May Day bank holiday - is this one just for public employees, civil servants, teachers etc?

Don't get it off. Have booked it off anyway to recover from the weekend.

I thought it was only bank workers and public "servants"* who got this one off.

*I believe as part of the recent payouts they now get 30 annual holidays plus 12 public holidays. Nice.

Im not a bank worker nor public servant and i get it off - mind u our holidays are crap so im grateful
