The Sony has a 5hr battery compared to the Macs 7hr

The newer range of Apple laptops have the i5 processor and you have to go to the higher price range of Sony VAIO  with the i5, to find a comparable model.

I'll try again!

My daughter (13) wants a netbook for her birthday - will be using it for school, email etc.  Any recommendations?
My hands are stained with thistle milk ...
