Quote from: STREET FIGHTER on March 24, 2024, 05:02:05 PMMy car insurance has been steady enough....a bit of an increase this year...

It's the house insurance that's killing me....

Nearly double from last year....

Apparently too many claims in the North and insurance companies pulling out leaving less options and nearly zero competition...

Also Brexit affected the market. For instance, AllianzNI was a branch of Allianz Irl (the old Church & General), they were decommissioned after Brexit. I had a property in NI insured with them for years but Allianz London refused to cover it.

Folks

Any recommendations in terms of home insurance providers?

Way off the charts now!

Ours is through Admiral. They were about £400 for a new build house.

Bump.

Has anyone recently got family health insurance? What sort of monthly outlay?

Appreciate southern posters might have it as part of their job benefits.

Just took a standard basic Benended health plan with the wife.. £16 each a month

Think they have different grades to it but fairly simple to join it

I noticed that one but seems to be a few clauses if based in NI. Vitality seems to be competitive enough at £60 for family

Young fella has just passed his driving test.

I'm currently with Tesco and they're refusing to add him to the car.

Who is good for R drivers?
