I see threads on car hire, car problems and car finance, but none on buying a new car.

Now, dont laugh, I'm thinking of a new Mini Clubman. Not for me, but for the ball and chain.

Any experiences out there?

Waste of money. Better yokes out there for cheaper.

Why a Clubman?  Very poor build quality with acres of loose plastic and not a lot of room.

Its like this...

1) A while ago when out for dinner with the ball&chain and her friends
2) Her friends jokingly insisted I should get her a Mini
3) I said honestly that Mini's were expensive crap
4) The ball&chain then insisted that I buy her one, just because.
5) If I dont then she will loose face with her friends
6) The ball&chain always gets her way
7) Go to number (1)
