Heavy snow passed through the north this morning. This is the Strule river running through Omagh frozen with a layer of fresh snow

Supposed to be flying home tonight but I'm afraid I'll only make it as far as Dublin airport and no further. Could someone take a drive down and around Ardcath and Pudden Hill to see if the roads are clear.

Thanks a million in advance.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Safe travelling juice but the back roads are absolutely treachorous. Road beween here(Dunshaughlin) and Ashbourne was impassable for most of yesterday, slight improvement today. Also roads around ashbourne and Rolestown crap as well. Kilmoon Cross was like a skating rink.

No probs juice

Temperatures are set to dip to -6C tonight with further snow, sleet, rain, frost and ice forecast for the weekend but not too much for east I think

Here's a good site that I find accurate - http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/today.asp?zipcode=meath.

If it was only for the weekend I'd stay where I am as there are huge delays in the airport as well

There won't be any more snow of any consequence, a shower or two. Probably a sleet shower that freezes and makes things icy.

At least it doesn't look out of place this year.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

According to the forecast there could be significant snow in the north tomorrow morning and afternoon.
