Hopefully Meath can continue their upward trajectory in performance. Unlucky not to see out a win against Kildare but we have a decent team and

Liam O'Donaghue has some motor on him. Milo Stafford looks like a great prospect in the vein of Shane O'Rourke in his prime.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Cork had the wind and it was definitely worth a few points to them. Their keeper kicked 2 tpf and 2 45s. Meath struggled with their kicking against the wind.

Cork goal with the 1st attack of the 2nd half to lead by 13 points.  Wind had an influence but the size and pace difference of the two sides has stood out also.

Cork do look a bit bigger overall. Cork's tackling technique looked very good as well. Turned over Meath players a number of time.

Christ knows. 2 deliberate trips by Galway and no black cards.

Then black carded Meenan directly afterwards...he was shockingly bad

Meenan one was a black card. Really silly tackle at that stage of the game and in that position.
Looked the fitter team which is great to see. Some nice scores by both teams.

Captain Obvious

Wind appeared strong in Ashbourne.  Tyrone scoring 1-8 against in proved the difference in the end as was the strong finish to the game to outscore Galway 2-5 to 0-1.

That was definitely a black card though. You can't drag someone down like that

Kerry look very poor here or are Kildare just that good?
