Hoof Hearted

I assume the semi pairings are still as they were before the game, so kilkenny play Dublin an tipp play Cork

G Galway miss so many wides, as in the last game too, and have no actual intensity. Got to be managements issues there.

Amazing performance by Dublin a man down.

Galway very poor but they need to find new players.

Cork Kilkenny final likely. Cork have to deliver surely this year.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

Tipp might surprise kk.

Watched the game up on till I had to head out to a game, so got the rest on the RTE radio, the commentary was bonkers but filled the drama for those last 12 minutes..

Firstly well done Dublin, I never seen that performance coming based on the year so far..

Think it's unfair to say that Limerick were complacent, Dublin set their stall out early doors and backed up their game with Limerick from the start..

The red card incident by the book was red, intent and contact, the contact was minimal and he definitely overacted, I can see a club game were it's play on lol..

The best player for Dublin was sent off, they reacted like you'd want and not how a lot of teams would.

Facing limerick is tough but to beat them with 14 men from the 14 minute is the best result I've every seen or heard.. so much better than Antrim's 89 team, as that Antrim team were knocking on the doors..

Be interesting to see how they decompress the next few days, analyse their game and build that towards the next game.

Lastly for me the Dublin manager is a top man, I mentioned during the club hurling final that he was calm and collected and that was the same today.

I love the upsets
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Fantastic win for Dublin. A few times I thought they were gone and Limerick would pull away, but credit to their work-rate and skill.

Great win for the Dubs when it all looked but curtains for them when Crummy stupidly threw the elbow out and deserved red.
They had the power and pace to pull away from their respective markers in lots of areas of the pitch and Brian Hayes had one of his best days for Dublin, serious pace but he found some end product with it which is normally his Achilles heel. He was one of many stars for Dublin on the day.

Limerick were maybe thinking they were already in the semi-final and believed the hype of the Munster championship with Dublin being third in a much lower standard in Leinster, but you still have to put a shift in and many of them struggled to do so.

Dublin now have to find that same resolve and passion for Cork in two weeks time, if they do then Corks defence will be seriously tested again with the brother Hayes and Hetherington big, strong boys who take the direct route to goal and Cork struggle with those types of attackers.

One of the happiest men in Ireland on Saturday evening would have been Pat Ryan and Cork will now be hot favourites to lift the Liam McCarthy. Maybe Paddy Power knows more than we give them credit for!

Jesus, but that Galway, Tipp game was tepid pish. Irrespective of team building you want lads to give it a real lash and yes, the series of bad, very bad wides after they'd gotten the goal at the start of the second half would drain the confidence out of you, but that was serious poor stuff from Galway.
O'Donoghue has a lot to ponder for next year.

Tipp move on to a meeting with Kilkenny and if the don't shore up that defence it won't matter if Jake Morris and co are getting scores at that end, Kilkenny will have half a dozen goals in the other end. Mossy Keoghan, Eoin Cody and TJ won't be missing those chances.

Dublin were good value for it, worked so hard all over the pitch.

The sending off was unfortunate but when you leave the elbow out like that now you are running the risk.

Had thought Dublin were a dangerous team earlier in the year, but didn't see this one coming at all.

What odds were they?

I think this manager they have is a very capable boy. It's unlikely they'll beat cork but if he gets a bit of time to develop players then they might become a much bigger threat in Leinster.

Galway have become shockingly bad which is surprising with the manager though he didn't do great things in Dublin either. There's no way Galway should be as bad as they are.

Something going badly wrong in Galway to have that drop off.

To be fair they seem to be behind a lot of the teams in terms of the conditioning and their S&C.

€60 for seated tickets for the All-Ireland semi finals. €40 for Hill 16.

The All-Ireland final will be €100 and 55 for Hill 16.  When you factor in accommodation fuel, food etc it's expensive to follow your amateur county team nowadays
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Plenty like to stay the night before or night after the match. The price of accommodation turns plenty away from that nowadays.

Sleep in your car in the Obama plaza.

Honestly it's hard to see Dublin do that again but how many times have Cork slipped up over the last two decades. Could go either way.

Kilkenny will cut through Tipp I'd say.

Cork are inclined to slip up in finals rather than semi-finals.
