I am aware that legal proceedings have been threatened if refunds on season tickets aren't offered. So things may change by next week.

Is it true that in 2020 Tyrone season ticket holders got All Ireland tickets and Mayo season ticket holders did not?

You still crying? Go down to the local club that weekend, just FYI they play 60 minutes not 70. The umpires won't be wearing white coats either.
Christ. When did that change?
That's just, like your opinion man.

Threatened by whom? Where were these litigious individuals last year in Eniskillen when there were a total of 7,000 in attendance (bearing in mind there would have been a Fermanagh contingent in attendance)? Surely this nonsense is embarrassing for any right-minded Armagh supporters.

Anyone thinking of bringing legal action over this is an absolute arsehole. Probably belong living in England or Larne or somewhere like that.

What's embarrassing about it? They sell you a ticket which is supposed to allow buy a ticket for games, then they schedule the games so that you cannot use it. It is an embarrassment to the GAA.

I'm not involved directly but as I understand it there have been pre proceedings letters sent on behalf of a number of individuals (8 I am told) for breach of contract.

It's not something I would have done but I can see their point.

It seems clear from the correspondence from the Season Ticket section that the number of season ticket holders does not exceed the capacity of the ground and that the association have chosen to honour other ticketing commitments presumably to sponsors, players and media. As a result the tickets available to season ticket holders is less than the the number of holders. It's not clear what the shortfall is.

The issue I think is that the Season Ticket was very poor value unless it came with the extra incentives it did such as a guarantee of a ticket to this match (for an additional fee) and access to All Ireland final tickets should your county progress (and you had paid the requisite additional fees). Now that at least one of those has been removed I think people are entitled to feel they have been scammed. Particularly as the fixture was known about at the time of the sales.

I think the association should have headed this off at the pass and made a goodwill gesture of a free ticket to a subsequent match for example. The goodwill offer made is derisory

Some miserable feckers out there, GAA ethos and community being stripped by people who have not got the best interests of GAA. Hopefully they go ahead with it and they'll been named too.
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Anyone bringing legal action should be outed in the same vain as those against the A5. If you believe it's a valid position to take, then throw your name behind it and own it. See if it's a popular position.

100%. A handful of people doing this. Pure d:&ks.

Giving 99% of Armagh supporters a bad name at this carry on.  Like imagine contacting a solicitor to write up a letter and go through with it.

Give them media or sponsor tickets in keeping with the modern "GAA ethos"
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.
