Memories of sick days off school back in late 80's/early 90's was a bottle of lucozade in morning and Going for Gold in the afternoon after Neighbours at lunch time.

Loved  Going for Gold back in the day.

Going For Gold was a staple if you had a "sore stomach" and had to stay off school in the 80s

Wee bitta fifteen to One then Countdown.
Next thing ye knows it's suppertime 😜

But first ,  the odd groan and rubbing of the  belly, pre-empting the inevitable question: well, do you think you'll be alright  for school tomorrow?

Oh I dunno (repeat groan/belly rub). Plus, the final of Going for gold is on tomorrow, although you can't  tell them that!

Royal Tenebaums, Crimson Tide , all great shows. He lifted average films like Enemy of the State, The Firm up to decent shows , retired over 20 years ago which doesn't seem right.

Mississippi burning remains a performance and film that is just brilliant.
