It has a name, it's called Petrichor

Yesterday at work the air was full of it,  I went outside to smell it...love that smell. I went in to the office to the 20 somethings and told them to go out and smell the rain....looked at me like i was demented!

Not being weird, but is the smell of your own home not the best smell. Your house you grew up in.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Nah, I'd still go with the newly opened brown bag from the chippy.

It should be noted that smell is only good pre meal. Once eaten that greasy smell turns me, and have to get all the packaging out in the bin!!

Yeah, the smell relates to memories I think and this brings you back to your childhood.

Other people's  dinner cooking

We lived next door to  a big family,  their dinner cooking always smelt great. Always remember in particular  the spuds, fried onions , cabbage and maybe a chop, sausage or bacon on the go

We probably were  turning  our noses up at similar  but theirs always smelt great

We had lovely dinners in  primary school. Always remember sitting in class and the aromas from the  kitchen roaming into the  classroom.   We could usually  tell what was on the menu. Always smelt lovely, and they  mostly were

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Mayo going out of the championship

We all have our local rivalries, but credit Mayo. If there's been 10 brilliant championship games since 2012 (Jimmy), Mayo have been involved in 8-9 of those.

It'll be a poorer championship without them.
