Bryson tweeting non stop tonight. Full melt down incoming. Can someone check on  poor Ben Lowry to make sure he hasn't imploded with rage or something

Bin Lorry,Dudley and Polley all got the road from the Newsletter. Bitter bitter people.

Just wanted to throw this out there to make myself feel better insofar as we are not the only ones with horrible neighbours.

We live out in the country with a neighbour beside us with a shared road spay. Recently our son started dropping his kids to us as he is back in an office and a school education authority bus picks the kids aged 9 & 7 from the road spay. Yesterday my son got a call from the bus driver to say he can no longer pick the kids up as the neighbours have complained about the bus pulling onto the spay which they fear will damage the tarmac, tarmac we paid for and did not ask them for a contribution as you know what it was an extra few hundred quid to do their part also. The bus driver said as he cannot use the spay he feels it is unsafe and now the kids can't get the bus.

This goes back in my opinion to the fact during that during the summer we were routinely being woken up after midnight by his dog being let out to pee and no one supervising said dog. I approached him (in a civil manner) the next day and asked was their anything he could do to control the dog at that time of night, he reacted by accusing me of threatening him (I did not) and then by abusing me calling me a t*at etc.

I really cannot understand the mentality of some people and I honestly do not want to get into a tit for tat with them, however, I really cannot stand the sight of them now.

Anyone else with joyous neighbours?

You can be guaranteed he has some other historical grudge against you or your family, even some perceived slight you might not even realise.
Unfortunately people like this thrive on these things and can make your life a misery.

I know you usually can't read too much into crowd sizes, but they say it was 3,700 on the Garvaghy Rd and about 200 at Edgarstown. And some of the ones at Garvaghy were Protestant speakers asking for the whole thing to be put to bed and moved on from, saying the residents should be left alone.

There was about 15, 000, from all shades of people on the GR yesterday. Good drone shot photo contrasting the two crowds. Massive difference in numbers, energy and narrative.

The DUP are now realising that when you hook up with Bryson, eventually, it'll fall to pieces. I think they are privately hoping the court ruling falls on the side of the GR residents as that seems to be their only way out of this self-inflicted mess.

I said this before. I think the time of year is a big factor. If this was happening in July, there'd be loads of unionists in Portadown - good weather and being off work for two weeks etc.

Be interesting to see what the court says tomorrow.

The absence of Pengelly, Robinson , Givan etc around Portadown is very telling. They might be tweeting (or X-ing?)  but  they clearly know to be seen with  those two freaks  and Alister  won't end well.

They are deliberately distancing themselves from  it all , knowing  it will inevitably go  tits up.  Secretly I think they know  Bwyson and Skeletor have  done serious damage to unionism  (and the OO) and  gave nationalist parties a massive boost.

Interesting to to see Allister expressly criticise the DUP in front of Lockhart in Portadown yesterday. That will not go down well at party hq.
Bryson has the faecal touch no doubt about it, but a dangerous, nefarious individual nonetheless.

This is now third story on NI news. Writing on the wall for Jamie.

OO missed an opportunity to come out of this with dignity in tact.

As they saying goes, he who stirs the pot gets to lick the shit.

Unfortunately, it seems Loyalists are now blocking roads going into Portadown. Will see some poor person hurt yet.

Video footage has emerged. Some crowd hai

We all know how that ended up for Saruman.

It was that good even Willie Fraser got in on the act!

[but she has lost credibility selling herself as a First Minister for all.]

MON should have stayed away and left it to locals to represent themselves. We all know whose side she is on - but she has lost credibility selling herself as a First Minister for all.
As said here earlier the DUP have got their siege mentality vote back from this and it's a perfect distraction from the Robinson disgrace.

Meanwhile the rest of the world (we just probably Ireland and the UK) looks and shrugs its shoulders at the stupidity of the situation.

If MON said she went to  a GAA match , unionists would say  similar . You'll never win against that  bigoted lot

The nationalist leaders HAD  to be there. Yes , it'll probably help them in the polls , but  it wouldn't be as easy  for the RUC to baton the  heads off elected politicians  than it would for nameless Garvaghy residents

Thinking it over now , this was a unionist plan to  win back votes , not only to win Stormont seats , but to fend off  a border poll. They know it's coming even if they keep  saying it's not. FFS sure they  mention it more than SF/SDLP do

100% correct. In all honestly the notion that the actions of the Garvaghy Road residents have put a United Ireland back by x number of years are laughable.
Those loyalists/unionists supporting the bowler hats wont ever be voting for a UI.
Those commentators in the south spouting similar nonsense are the same partitionists we've all known about for years.

100%. Any other course of action from any nationalist party would have been wrong.

What happens now? Blackheart seems to be threatening to get her buddies that were in Scarva out.

1. In the past when the nationalist's havent been battered off the streets by the police and the OO havent got their way, it usually ends with Loyalist rioting and violence and some poor Catholic getting hurt or killed, that's the sad truth.

2. In the short term the call for prosecution of MON and residents

3.Call for resignation of police for not battering the residents.

4. Call for resignation of MON as first minister.

5. Call for Penguinelly to resign as deputy.

6. Call for collapse of assembly and blame Sinn Fein/SDLP/Alliance.

Where do we go from here? What are the options? Is all of this genuinely happening because someone forgot to sign a document?

If it's going to become a case of "the squeaky wheel gets the oil", does that mean there needs to be more protesting from the nationalist side? I genuinely think this could all kick off, and that would only play into their hands.

The nationalist side have never seemed as argumentative when it comes to holding up funding for loyalist/unionist policies or projects. You don't see the same level of opposition that we're seeing now with things like the Irish Language Act, street signs, etc.

Is now the time to just stall this place completely and bring everything to a head? Contest everything in the same way? I know that's not the right thing to do and would ultimately just harm everyone, but you can understand how angry and frustrated this makes you feel.

Pull it down. This place doesn't work. Border poll or nothing

It's all to be expected. The last sting of a dying wasp.

They have to walk in silence between 8am and 9:30am on a Sunday morning.
Will it really be disruptive?
Have a bit of a lie in, and it will all be over when you get up?

Who is that quote from? What an absolute arsehoke.

The LGFA seemed to be caught on the hop after Mary McAleese's resignation.

The LGFA notes Dr Mary McAleese's decision to step down as Independent Chairperson of the Steering Group on Integration. This comes somewhat unexpectedly, given what we understood to be constructive discussions at the latest meeting of the Steering Group on Monday evening regarding the integration process.

We thank Dr McAleese for her dedication and leadership in this role and wish her well for the future.

Looks like a coup being plotted behind the scenes?
Moneyed person(s) funding a new expensive management team?

Parachuting in Gallagher( with the financial backing of Banty) as Brannigan's number 2?

Will we be firing up the Rory Gallagher thread - sponsored by Banty?!
Or I am reading too much between the lines here...

Fire it up!

Kerry wouldn't begrudge them this one after all the heart break

I heard Jarleth Burns say something similar in his speech.

I'm not sure it is a matter of begrudging or otherwise, but I think its easy for a neutral, or somebody with no skin in the game to take that view. I doubt too many Kerry men will be too effusive over it.

Fair enough, but on reflection I'm sure they will be comforted by the fact that w

Delighted for Mayo. The young Mayo players had no fear and got stuck in from the start. Delighted. Kerry wouldn't begrudge them this one after all the heart break

How many times in the second half did you see Down players losing possession cheaply and refusing to chase back at full pace, actually watching the Wicklow players steaming forward.
I'm sure its something we all seen or coached at underage level and shouted at the player to try and discourage it. It's just a bad attitude and surely something the management have seen all throughout this year and previous years.
