I'm not sure who the head groundsman or woman is in Glen but their training pitch looks like carpet at the minute. The standard of pitches in our clubs has to be at an all time high. Its worth driving up the Glenshane just to see it
I was in Ballerin during week for Ballymaguigan and Drum and theirs was the same.
Takes some work to achieve that.

The worrying thing yesterday was how easily Cork opened up our defence. Men breaking tackles at ease and players getting in behind for a pop pass not being tracked.
Cork also had long periods of dominance at midfield and breaking ball.
Fair play to Mattie Donnelly- kept bringing the fight. What a servant for county and club.

Cookstown were county champions at u14 last year, probably was a no brainer to assume they were grade 1 although originally graded at 2 before the Hokey Cokey of club appeals started and grades changed a lot from 1st draft.

Plenty of games have been moved. So I'm not sure why Cookstown couldn't get a game moved. 

Dromore played Aghyaran tonight, there have been a few mid week games. Omagh played Galbally on a Sunday.

There are a few games moved, dont know the reasons for the move. I agree Saturday morning at 11am is a disaster for most parents that have lads playing multiple sports.

Seen a few clubs with floodlights getting the U14 games on Friday nights or midweek.

Some serious hammerings dished out at boys and girls U14 level. That's no good for either team.

Probably right enough, but also hard to blame people. Live on TV versus Omagh in the winter is a no brainer for a lot of people. I'd imagine the game in Dungannon next week will get a better turn out for the novelty factor alone

Good to see we are capable of releasing team news earlier than a few hours before throw in. Not sure about persisting with Cassidy at wing back. No fault of his own. Prefer Daly in midfield

Going by past form that team won't start as named or lineout.
The more interesting reading is always who is on the bench

It's a pity we don't have a Conor Glass. Someone with his athleticism and brain to grab a game by the scruff around the middle. I thought he was majestic against us.

I think McGarrity has to be given a go at FF. The small men aren't working and Kennedy and Donnelly just aren't effective on the square.

After that then we are overstocked with certain players and very short on others. I think we have great competition in the full back line and full forward line but our half forward and half back lines are light.

Serious questions have to be asked about our S&C and this predates Malachys time. When Peter Donnelly was here the physical transformation for young players coming through was huge. I remember the likes of McGeary, Meyler, Rory Brennan, McShabe etc coming straight to the u21s primed and physically ready. McKernan a few years after.

I can barely recall a player stepping out of u20 level in recent years and looking at the physical level and ready made. It took Devlin up until the tail end of last year to look like he adjusted to the top level requirements at the senior intercounty. Ciaran Daly, Seanie O'Donnell, Ruairi Canavan, Ben Cullen are guys who are all the county panel for a number of years now and just don't seem to have progressed physically so big questions need to be asked about our S&C on how we are way behind sides from other counties in that regard.

Seems crazy that Tyrone's S&C coach is currently in New Zealand. Not face to face with the players
