The cargin men been very quiet since the game yesterday... spike and EOC same men very loud after hammering Creggan
Must've came down the m2 with the tails between their legs 😉

I thought it would have been a lot tighter for sure. On that display alone its hard to see Ahoghill even getting to this stage again given their numbers and age demographic.
One sided affair and nowhere near as difficult to ref as a tight game obviously but a solid performance from the man in the middle.
Quote from: bannside on September 21, 2026, 06:03:37 PMI unreservedly apologise for losing my discipline yesterday and apologise to anyone who I may have offended.
Thats twice over a long period attending games...I had a similar outburst in Carrick on Shannon when Leitrim hosted Antrim about 8 years ago.
Not proud of it and will endeavour to ensure there is no repeat.
For the record, never at any stage was my vent directed at anyone from Rossa.
Quote from: thegladiator on September 19, 2026, 06:02:30 PMIf they beat st pauls next Saturday then they are definitely up.
If they lose then sarsfields could stay up by beating st pauls.
Will come down to who has the worse score difference then
Sarsfields already on -9
Quote from: Spike on August 28, 2026, 09:27:27 PMSo we compromise the quality of our senior championship by putting dross like moneyglass and sarsfields into each group to make up numbers
And then we say scores and points against them dont really count?
What a joke.
Our flagship event reduced to Go Games
Both stayed in div 1 avoided relegation, (thus far,
Both team in the hardest groups no mention of St Paul's on worse score difference than moneyglass in a much easier group,
Or Glenravel and tnn struggling in the easiest group of the lot.
Very easy to pick on the newly promoted teams

Anyone know what game/games if any, are being streamed this weekend?
Tee'd up for Marys/Casements game on the Saturday and Cargin/Galls on the Sunday
Surely someone better to do streaming than that Quinn man his commentary would put u to sleep doesn't even know the rules
Quote from: imtommygunn on August 25, 2026, 10:41:22 AMLast round has some interesting enough games. So group 1 looks the only group where relegation is still to play for with it being between Randalstown and Glenravel and the rest look foregone conclusions. You would expect Rossa to beat TNN but could be tight enough. On paper it will likely come down to score difference as you'd expect Dunloy to beat Glenravel (unless they rest all their hurlers which could happen...).
Creggan Ballymena probably the biggest game now. You would imagine Cargin would have too much for St Galls. Aghagallon Portglenone might have something in it.
2 real do or die games which is the way it should be imo, rossa and Creggan favs id have it but wouldn't rule out an upset or 2 on the cards, and cargin probs to strong for st galls if burns isn't fit
Quote from: Lár na páirce 1 on August 24, 2026, 05:59:59 PMIt was a very deliberate low act from a player who then later in the game headbutted Mick twice as for the moneyglass no.7 it was simply cowardly I would say he was proud of himself later that evening nothing but a complete coward not to mention being a horrendously poor footballer
Think that's a bit far now to be honest.
Calling someone a coward and a horrendously poor footballer on an online account, poor taste that

Speaking of poor taste, I see our superstar ref tried to make himself centre of attention on social media, poking fun at a Whitehill player whom he sent of.................Quote from: asaffgael on August 23, 2026, 11:06:31 PMQuote from: NatSoSaff on August 22, 2026, 10:49:29 PMDifficult to critique Cargin properly in this affair. Any football played came through them, though moneyglass clearly set their stall out to stop them at all costs. It turned tasty at times, and the typical poor officiating helped neither team. Thomas Mccann appeared to be badly injured. Big loss to Cargin going forward if so. Things shaping up for a massive 1/4 final v Creggan.
Not nice to hear of an injury but don't think will be too much of a loss. From chatting to a few within Cargin, might release a few others as has struggled for a few years and probably only holding place due to name.
What is this about the sending off?
Didn't see any post or heard anything else about it.
