That is madness. Whatever you think of Adams; for someone to be sued and the case dismissed, plaintiff found not liable or not proven or whatever the term is... you've to pay costs?!!

Reminds me of a visit to the courts in Belfast and barristers in cloaks swishing around and men in suits, carrying files, bringing clients into rooms for consultations...
I met a  solicitor I knew... ses to me: "what you see here, it's all a game"... £££

For the amount of deputy GK who never got a look in even in McKenna Cup as Niall started virtually every game, its a shame to see the toys thrown out when he's expected to take a reserve role for a game or 2

If there's issues with mgmt/method fair enough to some extent, but players the world over in all codes rarely look in the mirror to see what they can do to improve, possibly a systems failure on multiple fronts at this point, players mgmt. board

Good team best available in right positions . Its tactics, pride and guts that matter with Cork fired up to clinch promotion ace Kerry. This game is obviously the last chance for this crew to make their mark as we cannot go in to Armagh match with the current attitude. Sad to see Morgan in this situation but he has to have loyalty to the panel and take responsibility for his dodgy form.

Shades of Mo Salah throwing the dummy out of the pram when you're dropped. Would expect better from a Tyrone player with that experience though.

When does this come down to the players? Not two years since the performances were in a complete meltdown and a new management needed. I'm hearing players won't take on board the instructions they're getting from the management...

That goes to the root of the problem... we don't have the players to compete with likes of Kerry, Donegal, Armagh. Kyle Coney like ffs!
The Tyrone-Meath and Dublin-Armagh games was like watching a junior game followed by senior... the physicality, intensity... Was a whole other level. Whatever bout these underage successes, what players are coming through? Very few and boys at the other end getting past their best..

Is Joker video in response to suggestion of playing Morgan outfield? Were you at the Edendork - Carrickmore championship game last year?.. and that's club level 🤷

I think the point (no pun intended) that's being made by those opposed to the two pointers is more that the elements can now have a bigger impact on the game than they used to which I don't think benefits the game.

The two pointer devalues the value of both a goal and a point.

That said it's here to stay so may as well get on with it

I'm def for it. Maybe a goal shud be put to 4 points encourage teams to go for goals as well... but overall it's been a great improvement imo...

Pat O'Neill from Keady captained St Patrick's College, Armagh to win the first ever Hogan Cup competition in 1946. He won three MacRory Cups.
He qualified as a doctor and in 1950 captained Armagh to their first Ulster championship win. He was also on the Armagh team that narrowly lost to Kerry in the 1953 All Ireland final.
He moved to Omagh in the early 1950s and won three-in-row O'Neill Cups with the St Enda's club. He also on the 1957 Tyrone panel that won the Ulster championship.
A highly respected GP in Omagh for decades until his retirement, Dr Pat (age 97) passed away last night. Rest In Peace 🙏

Why should a wind-assisted score from just outside the arc be worth double that of a score from just inside that arc that was not wind-assisted ?

The arc and the 2-pointers have distorted games.

Cavan scored a disputed 2-pointer against Offaly today taking them from a point behind to a point in the lead.
Whether or not it was a genuine score as opposed to a wide is immaterial. What is very pertinent is that a team's fortunes (promotion/relegation) can be decided by an unmarked player popping over a wind-assisted point from distance.

Too many one-sided halves of football - get rid of the arc and the 2-pointers.

As opposed to a player scoring a wind assisted one pointer to win a game? Watutalkinboutwillis?

Yeah and a wind assisted goal should only be worth 2 points while a goal against the wind be worth 4 points

Wtf!      maybe should measure the strength of the wind and have different points grades according to how strong it is 🤷
