Tyrone can surely beat Mayo. Kobe McDonnell had some superb moments in last 2 matches and l would sacrifice Teague to track him. Would also bring in 2 more from u20 squad esp McDermott as a strong last 20min goal scorer.
Hope Kennedyy is OK he is surely vital but injury against Rossies looked like recurrance of old problems. And what about the mystery of the Canavans esp Ruari. Is he still on the panel?
About Armagh it is all strong running and strength which fits 2 point game set up. 4 point goal is so badly needed to rebalance 2pt impacts (how to cause dispair from distance, can really suck the heart out of a team conceding or missing these esp. smallish team like Tyrone?)
Also l would bring Morgan out in 2nd half and bring in O'Kane who is good enough now for a game like this. With McElholm really getting the feel of it against Rossies he should surely blossom against black hearted Mayo.  Hit O'Shea a good belt early and he will creep into his shell (its not baywatch ye know boy!). McDonnell is the big danger, mad like his Da too.

Quote from: TyroneTam on June 01, 2026, 09:02:22 PMI agree Devlin has done an unreal job, however, I still think it's fair enough to question the rationale to not mix up the kick outs when it was abundantly clear we were being utterly wiped out from the 25th min onwards.

See for example Louth v Dublin change during game is possible.

These personal attacks on Devlin are despicible and those who made them should be barred from this site. Tyrone made something out of little with this team and came close missing 2 of their best players. With the attitude they showed most of the way they deserve great praise while acknowledging the bad angry stuff towards the end of the final.

Can we get a copy of Hurson's report on the Jimmy David carry on? What :o  was he at??? Am advising Ger Brennan go to Court for discrimination deformation!
Is demiGod David untouchable? Hope Tyrone get them later seeing as they are taking the scenic (Ring of Kerry) route! :o

Quote from: TyroneTam on May 24, 2026, 10:45:54 PMDarragh was on the field afterwards with the squad full of smiles and congratulations for his team mates...clearly no issue as referenced above.
Ruari's situation harder to understand. Seemed lesser injury but out a long time. Thought l could see in AI semi and bits after signs of angry frustration hope l am wrong he surely has a lot to offer and was developing into a good long shooter l thought.
Fwd line of RC RC EJ DC MD EMcEl would be hard to beat (if a bit small) with McHugh and Dazzler as strong subs. .
From this I'm assuming Ruairi Canavan and Ethan Jordan at 10 and 12.
2 of your defenders in an 11 vs 11 defence ??

Could say feck defence but Jordan strong hence at HF and Cassidy but do you want ChF thinking defence. Case for O'Donnell ahead of Ruari Canavan but small if tigerous ball carrier so don't know. Tyrone needs more from half backs too. Devlin well settled there but McKernan seems a bit off the pace and McGeary is past it to my mind but could play the organisng general well Did not see enough of that v Rossies.

Quote from: tyrone08 on May 24, 2026, 04:57:43 PMWas it the heat/tactics/ suspected fitness levels of the players that resulted in a large number of times having a tyrone player with the ball having no one to forward pass to today.
It was prrssure cooker hot physically and mentally there today. A win in those circumstance will set Tyrone up for more: only thing is the defense needs better organisation. I thought doing that on the field was McGeary's job?
McElholm magic and great to see McHugh getting blooded at this level( bit of strength and determination there badly needed).
S&C still an issue shown up on a baking hot day. McCurry used really well as last 25min sub and Mattie Donnelly controlled the zone well in  second half. Jordan lets nothing put him off, great but we need the 2 pointers to go over often. 4-5 missed today and thought McKernan could have been set up to try a couple more but no. Great goal Cassidy brave determined run straight into the heart of them (I take previous post back). Morgan shade flaky as ever but still great when it mattered.
More work to be done but excellent 1st round.

Jimmyless and  Murphylittle Donegal next🤣😇??

What is up with Camavans? All a bit strange esp. RC?

God rest McGuigan the greatest ( played minor and senior same day in Clones too)?
Hyde going well Gormley all is forgiven plus McElholm magic!

Frank is flying overhead thus far!

Strength and conditioning again. Problem from get go with O'Rourke and Tyrone. Messages from New Zealand farce. But surely there are 2 big men for today's 2 point led game worth getting on the panel? Without them and some real tactics that work for the players we have Tyrone will win nothing for years.

I just wonder is Ruari Canavan simply sick of the whole thing now?

There are bound to be changes b4 throw-in? Esp half-forward line 🤣😐😱.
Would love to see McHugh in put a bit of devil into it? Sad RC not available (?). Rangy Rossies could run thru that forward line. Need more power or forget it. None of HFs could be relied on to set up or get 2 point scores IMHO 🙃.Could get Mattie Donnelly a deeper roving role to help there? McElholm has too much class to be sitting at throw in!
