I am a massive fan of ZZ Top. Frank Beard was a competent drummer and Dusty Hill was a competent bass player. But their success was all down to Billy Gibbons, one of the best blues rock guitarists ever.

I have just watched "Missing" on Film 4. As a thriller it was great and I would highly recommend it.  As a lesson on how to use social media it is probably normal for young people. But I want to go back to a time when we didn't share every bowel movement on line. Even if it means the killer gets away with it.

Hindsight is easy. It's time for the Liverpool fans to declare their support for the new investors. Or wait and be armchair critics if it doesn't produce the desired results.

Only the aul fogies in 4 tv channel land in the 70s will remember The Goodies.

Loved them at the time.

But, like alot of Monthy Python, their comedy didn't age well

Anyone who didn't think immigration is causing problems will be thinking again.
And of course it's not all immigrants and not all races of immigrants.

No idea if it even was immigrants tbh but if so, should have all rights to be here revoked (if guilty)

Any immigrant who commits a crime (maybe be more specific?) should have all their rights taken away? Human rights? Civil rights? What about if they're an Irish citizen?

If they are an Irish citizen, they shouldn't be regarded as an immigrant.

If they are not an Irish citizen and they commit crimes in Ireland. They should be sent back to whatever country they came from.

Enjoyed it as well but it's definitely too long. Worth seeing in IMAX or LieMAX if you can. The sound is incredible. Some of the set pieces are breathtaking.

I'm not even sure the black north has an IMAX! Omniplex Maxx probably closest we have.

Ironically the only Imax screen in the north is in what was formally know as the Oddessey complex in east Belfast.

If ever an area needed adult males to get therapy...

Such a quality player. If he'd went to a good side earlier and had not bottle job managers/team mates with England he'd be getting talked about as one of the best ever.

He stayed with Spurs, I mean f*ckimg Spurs. Whether through loyalty or fear, he missed out on major trophies in the premiership and europe.
Let this be a lesson for all up and coming football prospects: Dont sign for Spurs.

Sam Neil was class, Event Horizon some show, scared the shit out of me as a young fella, the orgy scene remains fairly iconic

It was a great movie and as you said scary. But not as scary as Billy Zane was in Dead Calm. Nicole Kidman in the nude makes it a better movie.

Is Dead Calm not  similar to The River Wild, but just  on a yacht , not a canoe?

Other than travelling on water, there is nothing similar about the 2 movies.

Ah ok, must watch DC  again then.

Kevin Bacon did make a  good baddie  in TRW though.

Regardless, the River Wild had a very strong cast, with David Strathairn probably giving the best performance.
In a coincidence the young actor who plays the son in TRW also plays one of the two kids in Jurassic Park alongside Sam Neill.
