Are we now in a place where every game and refereeing decision is under the scrutiny of post match video analysis?

The point was disallowed due to a communication between the line official and the referee. The referee has made his decision on this basis and the game concludes.

"Referees decision is final".

Now apparently it's not final and Galbally feel they have a case. I am not offering any opinion on whether that is right or wrong, Galbally feel they have a right to appeal so let that work itself out.

But where does this end? A club thinks a player should have been sent off but he wasn't, the ref sees it and issues a yellow. The player in question kicks the winning score but the subsequent video clearly shows he should have been red carded, the ref made a mistake. What now? Appeal it on the grounds the referee made a mistake?

When does a kick become a black card? Was that the same incident?

The county board will not move on this, they  see the income from Tyrone TV as guaranteed and won't want to lose it. Offering a pass of any kind will impact income.

If they even had the foresight to offer a package for each round as a test to see how it compares.

This weekend we have 8 intermediate ties, test the waters by offering a pass for all games at whatever price and see how the numbers stack up.

I said "most" and Errigal Ciaran are the exception.

Donaghmore won 4 points in the league, you can't say that is anything other than recreational. Yes they may pick up a few more players for a championship game but otherwise it's a gather up.

I would agree with the idea of playing all thirds teams in some sort of qualifying process and the winner goes into the main championship competition.

Derry have a recreational league, there is a model out there. Most of these thirds teams are glorified Dads and Lads outfits.

After a 2 week break when players were encouraged to go off on holidays and relax.

It's genuinely a baffling situation.

But you are arguing clubs should play on without u20 players? Surely then, it would be ludicrous not to arrange a better senior schedule just because of a minor competition?

Play minors on the Friday night and seniors on the Wednesday if it comes to it.

I'm not suggesting that happens every week but it can be done with some sort of thinking.

No football for 8 months then 3 games in 8 days. Let's see how bodies hold up to all these double weekends.

The county board see the tyrone leauges as an inconvinence with no regard for player welfare.

Then come championship when its cash out time....they pretend like they care.

Clubs need to have a back bone and not stand for this shit.

This schedule has been forced upon the county board by clubs not budging on structure changes and then by Tyrone being drew out in the Preliminary round of Ulster.
Clubs and the county board need to come together and look at a different structure that allows a league to get underway at the start of May regardless of how the U20s are performing.

I don't agree that the released schedule has been forced on them to the extent that they begin the league with a double round.

Players going from no games to two games within less than 48hrs??? That's madness in anyone's eyes - unless you are sitting behind laptop screen making up fixtures, with no idea how players and teams recover and prepare from game to game.

With a little bit more creative thinking they could certainly spread the games out a little better, even within a compressed window of June to August.

For example why not look at a Friday - Wednesday - Sunday week in June and the same again later in the league. Or at least let clubs have some ability to arrange games between themselves if they so agree.

Do the current club minors play their league without their County U17 players?

County minor games on a Saturday and club minor games on a Sunday usually. As a rule our lads on county u17 team played a part the next day for the club.

Somehow there seems to be more flexibility with u17s.

I don't advocate anyone playing 2 games in 24hrs but have to give some credit to minor management for allowing lads to make that choice based on how they feel.
