Yeah that's my understanding and that rumour has been about for a while
The ex husband of a certain barrister quote-tweeted a tweet criticising a certain loyalist blogger. Make of that information what you will.
Link to this tweet?

The retweeted tweet was from the anonymous Unionist that the original PC had used as evidence that was part of the High Court challenge. If that helps.

It doesn't, sorry. Can you make it any clearer for us thickos?

Quote from: Rossfan on October 03, 2026, 01:39:33 PM"Other posters have both praised his GAA knowledge and strongly criticised some of his takes.

Whether he's actually a gobshite is, of course, a matter of opinion. 😄"

Won't say who that was....

I did the same.

Whether [unnamed poster] on Gaaboard.com is an "arsehole" is entirely a matter of personal opinion among forum users, as there is no objective consensus.
Public archives from the forum paint a picture of a long-standing, opinionated poster who frequently engages in blunt debate:
• ** Blunt Critiques:** They are known for harsh takes on GAA figures and rules, famously labeling referee Paudie Hughes as having an attitude that "smacked of... all ego" and describing him as a "genuinely spiteful official."
• Clashing with Other Users: Their direct posting style occasionally draws pushback from other members, such as being told to "catch a grip of yourself" during an argument about foul language at games.
• Respected Insights: Conversely, other forum members have defended their perspective in discussions, noting that "at least he can identify" core issues when debating topics like tokenism and administration errors within Down GAA.
Like many prominent posters on internet message boards, their directness makes them a polarizing figure depending on whether you agree with their arguments.

Quote from: imtommygunn on September 28, 2026, 06:30:59 PMIt's not like they're banned from marching. They march in the south. This one is divisive hence it's history. 2k plus are not. It is an insight into the psyche that it's not the tonnes of marches that are allowed no bother they focus on it's the one that isn't.

They marched in Glenavy, Magherafelt and Newry yesterday, for example.

I'm glad I'm not a High court judge. Imagine trying to make a determination after a feed of pints on a Saturday evening.
Or a couple of glasses of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Conti Grand Cru.

Quote from: Green+Gold on September 08, 2026, 09:01:08 AMAnother fiasco of a draw last night. Teams being pulled out too early and the wrong repeat pairings being read out.
Annaclone minors beating Bosco on penalties to reach the final but now having to play a replay.
Darragh Cross minors playing their semi final on Saturday a day before their seniors play on Sunday.

Just a normal week for the County Board.
what happened that annaclone bosco going to replay?

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶-𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹

Following a review by the CCC, it has been confirmed that in accordance with the competition regulations, the game should have gone to a replay and not penalties.  The game will now be played again.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:  Annaclone
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻: Saturday 12th September
𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 12 noon

After the disappointment yesterday, our lads get another chance.

This time we are away from home, so we'd love to see a big Bosco support. 🔵🟡 #BOSCOABU

Exactly the same thing happened last year, I believe. No justification for it happening again.

Has a European Cup winners medal

Think he has two. Sub keeper in 1968

Good knowledge there, he certainly has.

You're clearly in the middle of the younger folk and us older folk.  ;D

Quote from: Champion The Wonder Horse on August 03, 2026, 10:35:53 PMCan someone teach them southerners how to drive? The A1 was incredibly dangerous today. The number of southern regs sitting in the overtaking lane at 55-60mph for miles and the number of good god-fearing northerners who felt the need to undertake.

Has totally ruined the Fleadh for me.

Though I did see a young man carrying an O'Brien's, Foreglen kit bag through Royal Hillsborough.

It's the Foreglen man you should really be scared of

Fair point.

Had the pleasure of playing on their old pitch in the 80s. Interesting occasions.

Quote from: BigGreenField on August 06, 2026, 05:07:23 PMIt's nice to have an event of scale in the city that doesn't involve wrecking the place.

I see though the elected member for beating the Themuns drums is on the warpath though.

Ooh Ah, up Car-la

Belatedly joining the celebrations. Surprisingly close to 1993 in terms of emotion.

Good to see Farrandeelin and Lar na Parka being remembered; Farr would have celebrated his birthday today in some style.

So is it that the capacity is being reduced or the number of seats is being reduced and the rest will be standing only?
