It was very poor from England manager with more defenders on, no one seemed to take any responsibility. Not disappointed with the result but almost anyone with a bit of football knowledge could have sent on the big men to defend and hoped it would work.

Hawkeye is overly complicated tech and does not account for balls that would hit the post and go over.

It would be more complicated for Hawkeye to guess if a ball was hitting an imaginary post and going over or not. Over the post is a wide, simple as you can get.

The most obvious decision that went against Tyrone was the 45 given to Kerry which was a wide. In real time I called it as a penalty for Kerry. If the ref wanted to influence the game for Kerry he gives a penalty (foot block, tackle with foot). 45 given maybe Kerry score maybe they don't, wide given Tyrone get kick out maybe they win it maybe Kerry snaffle it and stick the ball in the net. The consequences of individual decisions don't always play out as you would expect

I'm asking if the GAA has a formal review mechanism for elite referees like other sports. It's not complicated.

If you put are referees assessed in GAA into Google it says they are. I know from speaking to an assessor they do it for club matches in Derry. And am pretty certain we are not ahead of the game in this.
Assessors are obviously good but who then assesses them?
Incorrect decisions only matter to the defeated team. I don't think refs have as much control on the outcome of games as people think.

Thank Christ for the residents and the Judicial Review because it seems the original stadium plan was a Health & Safety ticking time bomb.
The GAA didn't go away and tweak a couple of things to put it right. They had to go right back to the drawing board and design a different stadium. It must have been a fcukin mess.

There were insufficient exits to ensure a capacity crowd could get out of the stadium in 8 minutes if the Andersonstown Road was closed due to an emergency. At least that is how I understand it: Assembly 2015

No idea what Nigel is on about but he doesnt seem to be resigning. Until he did resign but only as an MP, a referendum in Clacton on his future how exciting.

The Paraguay players rolled around as much as the French only difference was that no matter what happened he wasn't giving Paraguay a card. If he had been consistent in letting things go you could argue it is a good style of refereeing, but different rules for different teams is not.
Players over reacting can also be driven by a ref. If he only gives a free when someone screams and rolls around that is what players will do.

You might get your positive result this season. D Desmond owns around 35% of the club getting him or the board out would require someone to want to buy that shareholding and to satisfy fans invest in players and stadium. New owners dont grow on trees espicially for SPL clubs when the opportunity to make money is limited.
 

Is Hawkeye still sponsored? Maybe they break even or make a profit. It is good for those over the post ones.
