Carrickmore a brilliant venue for games. Real good atmosphere. Personally would bring the Intermediate and Junior finals there as well rather than an empty Healy Park.
I agree coalisland could be better utilised, floodlights now as well. Stewartstown another good venue for Intermediate and Junior games.
Pomeroy should go the way of Edendork and Dunmoyle and be given less and less games. As stated here no one wants to go to Pomeroy to play a championship game.

Quote from: Goals_Will_Come on September 15, 2025, 10:53:25 AMAfter first round of Senior Intermediate Junior a few men have put their hand up as potential call ups for Malachy or atleast to the development panel.
Joey Clarke, Noah Grimes, Conor Cush - Donaghmore
Matthew Quinn, Daley Jones - Dungannon
Ethan Jordan - Eglish
Danny Fullerton - Carrickmore
Oisin McCann - Killyclogher
Ryan Gray - Trillick

Not much of a contest but Oisin millar and Callum day look good.

Thought Cathal donaghy looked good and was on the Tyrone bench of a number of occasions last year. Gavin potter a real handful at times and Ronan Cassidy looked tidy last night too
Didn't include Donaghy, Cassidy or McHugh as they are already on the panel. Few players there potentially upgrades on Cassidy and McHugh which would add good strength in depth to the squad. Be good if Cathal Donaghy got a run in the league.

Quote from: Easttyrone23 on September 12, 2025, 07:35:31 AMIn Errigals last 8 Tyrone championship games 6 of them had 1 score or less separating the teams.

3 point loss to Trillick
3 point win vs pomeroy
Draw with clonoe
3 point win over clonoe
1 point win vs Killyclogher
1 point win vs Trillick.

In the other 2 games Errigal won by 18+ points and both were vs Ardboe.

Ardboe constantly produce quality footballers and have had the most underage success in Tyrone over the last 20/30 years but it's a mystery why they haven't been able to bring that into senior.

Quote from: Augherstar on September 11, 2025, 08:20:36 PMPoor ardboe team today, need to integrate 6/7 of them minors into the team
They already have 3 starting with maybe another 2 or 3 on the bench I think. Will take a while for them to come through

Quote from: Goals_Will_Come on September 11, 2025, 09:08:51 PMUntil Ardboe get a midfielder or two and a few scoring forwards gathered up they will be nowhere near contenders for Championships.
Brought through loads of good young players the last few years but they are all small fast wing back wing forward type players. Not the profile of player they need to compete with the top teams.

Quote from: GAAtrojan on September 09, 2025, 10:33:55 PMErrigal v Ardboe ardboe to shock Ulster champions
Gortin v Pomeroy Pomeroy to beat a gusty Gortin team, good chance both will face off again in intermediate football next year
Errigal III V Derrytresk neither team will count in the later stages of the junior championship move on
Killyclogher v Loughmacrory same old shit talk about how well killyclogher are going, beat by 3 points to a Lough team who could be hard to beat
Dungannon v Trillick trillick by the skin of there teeth without Brennan who is a massive loss
Omagh v Derrylaughan Omagh easily
Dromore v Edendork tight game (potential draw) but Edendork to come out on top despite dazzler being missing
Carrickmore v Moortown Carrickmore's move on in workman like fashion
Galbally v Donaghmorelocal derby just shaded by a good crop of donaghmore lads!!! We are coming 👊🏻
Beragh v Drumquin Beragh will beat Drumquin by 5
If McCurry is injured Edendork wont be causing an upset against Dromore.

BRK should walk past Drumquin.
BRK could get to semi final???
Clonoe Vs Kildress - Field Fight (Clonoe by 5)
Rock to beat Moy IMO.

Clonoe Vs Rock
Eglish Vs BRK

Clonoe Vs Eglish Final
Clonoe by 6

Moy Owen Roes Coalisland Kildress play offs be tasty with whoever coming out of this should beat Gortin/Pomeroy.

In November.....

Think less teams in playoffs this year and we don't qualify? Can anyone confirm?

Maybe im wrong is it 2nd Vs 3rd? Is Coalisland even granted a play off? Are they not 4th??

Kildress ladies have came along way. Is there an individual pushing this within in the club? If so, great job.

Alot of good coaches and effort going into both genders in the club at the minute. Would be hoping we could push into senior already but seem to not be there just yet. Expect the girls to be there soon and I believe the Boys will be back there in the next 5.
Big call there to be talking of Kildress going back to Senior over the next 5 years. Mulgrew obviously a big talent but have they anything like that coming behind that? Philly Lennon and Dean McNally still main men in their mid 30s.

His scoring in the league was phenomenal this year.

Funny the amount of ones calling for Ethan to be called up. Never heard his name mentioned before but after 1 good game hes now a county player in the waiting. Lets wait and see how he gets on the next few games before people assume hes the next big thing

Quote from: NotedObserver on August 09, 2025, 11:37:25 AMAnyone seeing potential county players and ones to watch in championship. Could lorcan Mcgarrity make the step up?
McGarrity looks good but how many forwards do people want to bring into the 26? Joey Clarke would be a player I'd be looking at bringing in but it will be the same situation as the likes of O'Hare, R. Canavan and them lads. People begging for the younger lads to be called up and play games then they put in a bad performance and they're getting written off altogether as county players. Whoever does come in it will take 2 or 3 years minimum for them to find their feet
Correct about the two or three years but atleast Malachy has been releasing those players outside of the 26 to play club - this will help with retaining squad players for development. The creation of the development panel will also help get players through in time.
Ethan Jordan Eglish be worth a look at, was a wing forward as he came through Tyrone U20s and has been playing to a very high level for Eglish.

Incredible

Hope there is footage of it.

The guy is a class act

What age is Donaghy?

Recently turned 27 I believe, great player.

What's the craic with this chat about Beragh winning an appeal and Moy getting a point taken off them? If the Moy and Coalisland were to play out a draw on Sunday the way the table is currently it would suit the both of them for 2nd place and play off spot, one to keep an eye on.

1. Clonoe 28 points
2. Moy 25 points
3. Eglish 24 points
4. Coalisland 18 points
5. Owen Roes 17 points
6. Kildress 16 points

Some year for the players***

Time to turn all this talent into Senior All-Irelands.

O'Rourke needs to learn some tactics (eg. P.Harte should have started against Kerry to help on Clifford 1st, McElhom on after HT and Hampsay should not have been Clifford's main marker, McDonnell clueless in semi-final) and get a good strength and conditioning scheme for young talent.
2 big men in spine CHB general (not Brennan) and CHF or best CFF required. One's you can rely on so that leave questions re Donaghy. No more small veteran's please.
There is no better centre half back in the county than Rory Brennan. And we have the replacement coming through in Callum Daly - just a bit soon for Daly to be replacing him yet. 2027/2028.
Brennan a good player no doubt but not fit to man mark at that level and you can't play with a sweeper anymore
I fail to see a better option at centre back than Brennan until Daly comes of age.

Fr rocks

Have Pomeroy as a bogey team aswell
Also think ardboe knocks out errigal
Think Ardboe stand a real chance and wouldn't be suprised if they do. Errigal should've been beat by a worse team in Clonoe last year first round also in Dungannon
What makes another think Ardboe can beat Errigal?
Realistically Ardboe are a team full of wing backs and wing forwards. No out and out midfielders and no out and out inside forwards. Hard to see how you be successful in the new rules without these two things. Also major issue in goals as well.

 Fintona vs Killeshil play off.
 I reckon fintona take it.
Be a big blow in the grand scheme of things for Fintona if they went down. They have big plans next year with their latest input of young players and pushing towards the promotion picture in the next season or two. A year running about hammering everyone in 3A not be as beneifical as playing in Intermediate.
