Fair play Cuchulainns. Brilliant to see a proper intermediate club progress at this grade. Would have been a travesty if cheating by Tyrone CB had paid off. Senior clubs should not be in this competition but they prevailed anyway against the massive odds.

Tyrone has probably one of the stronger leagues in Ulster, so their intermediate winners will always be strong, but they'll be intermediate on merit. Clonoe have yo-yoed between senior and intermediate. Don't know how that constitutes cheating. Cavan just send Division 1 teams to compete in the Ulster series. Was it last year or the year before all three teams came from Division 1? Diabolical. Here's hoping Carrickmacross, the only genuine intermediate club left, beat the other Division 1 club remaining in the intermediate series and go on and win the final.

Didn't realise it was the Ulster Club League.

Kingscourt 2/9  v Erne Gaels 7/2 – 10/1 draw
No idea how good Kingscourt are but Erne Gaels are getting the Fermanagh factor built into that price of 7/2, with a year's experience under their belt, they'll hardly roll over for the Cavan Champs

Scotstown 8/13 v Naomh Conaill 7/4 – 17/2 draw
I put down Scotstown as my tip for Ulster, but I really wouldn't be surprised to see NC beat them on Sunday.

Loughmacrory 13/5 v Kilcoo 4/11 – 17/2 draw
Has to be game of the weekend, great price for a Tyrone team at 'home'.

Madden 7/5 v Newbridge 4/5 – 8/1 draw
Stingy enough with the pricing here, I thought Madden might have been a bigger price for a novice County Champion, but the bookies aren't stupid.  Madden are a seasoned, physical outfit eventho it's their first run in Ulster.  They do have a tendency to shoot a lot of wides IMO, if they start off like that and it gets into their head they'll be beaten, but I think Madden have a great chance.

I could see at least 2 of these games going to extra time.  My double for the weekend Madden v Newbridge to draw and Loughmacrory to win.

What's the background to Jordan Morris playing for Kingscourt Stars? His home club in Meath is Nobber (Junior this year).

Fall out or just wanting to play a higher standard but not within Meath? Kingscourt is only 10 minutes away so handy enough spin.

I know he has family ties but that Jack McCarron transfer to Scotstown would fair sicken you this time of year as well, they were winning most years before that happened, if they don't win Ulster this year with most the big hitters gone it will never happen

Went to school in Kingscourt and lives in Kingscourt. His father won a championship with them too. Think his grandfather brought him to Nobber to play.

Littler beat in the semi final of the world youth championships. There was some controversy over him entering it too.

I'd reckon so. Massive money went on them early in the year.
