Quote from: W.A.G. Lover on December 08, 2025, 10:52:03 AMAre there any big motions or recommendations for the Tyrone convention tomorrow night?

Derrytresk are still hard pressed in their championship defeat to Errigal 3rds. They have a range of motions to change the rules

Quote from: GAAtrojan on October 19, 2025, 06:48:02 PMThe Tyrone referees committee is a joke they must appoint referees who lick the most ass to do games. (sparky Loughran) is appointed the senior final he has been involved in multiple issues this year (Drumquin v aghayarn) Eglish Coalisland & ardboe if it was any other ref he would be struck off the list wtf.

Have to agree here, disastrous appointment. Whole of Ireland watched how badly he handled the melee with Fianna and Eglish, he has had a few horrors in the championship this year.

It's a nod to Errigal to still give them some county final involvement.

Awful appointment.

Cost box office prices to watch games this weekend. Should be a package
Fake news.

Was it on the fire stick?
Yes. Both of today's games were.

Apparently....

What channel section? Didn't see it on mine

I couldn't get it either. In fact there was a Tyrone GAA folder that has been deleted. I just have clubber, GAA Go or Ulster GAA.

What provider has the Tyrone games? Year subscription would still save money than the cost to watch the semi final replay and 3 finals.

Sludden will be on the phone to Rory Cox this evening to remove that video. The county board like to sweep any controversy under the carpet.

Fair play for putting it out there. Goes to highlight the problems in Tyrone refereeing or referee teams. Pull 4 lads out of a bar on a Tuesday night and ask them to stand at a post.

Cost Drumragh big. They might win next day out to ease the pain but that's a howler if they have to face another year in junior football without the opportunity to contest a final.

Referees have been disgustingly poor this year, so many costly decisions or lack of clarity form the refereeing team. The Hurson 2 pointer, was that an umpire or referee error. Massive call.

Omagh vs Errigal, too many decisions in that game to go over. Shane used to be the best in the county, those days have passed.

Moy vs Eglish. Seen the video of disallowed Moy goal. Sparky is guessing from distance and guessed wrong. Over ruled the umpire who was reaching for the green flag.

Drumragh vs Cookstown, 2 pointer ruled out.

Players go through the mill all year to prepare for these moments only to be done over by incompetence. Referees need to look at better training and better support teams. Buck has to stop with Shane Dorrity.

CCC just moved Friday nights games to Sunday. Common sense decision.

Quote from: WT4E on September 21, 2025, 10:27:29 PMThought Kildress gave Clonoe plenty to think about throughout the game. Too wasteful in 1st half but where right in it until the ref gave some very questionable decisions to Clonoe in the 3rd quarter when we had it back to 3/4 theses decisions resulted in 5 more points for Clonoe and the game was gone.

Clonoe very physical team and will take a lot of stopping.

Clonoe never had to get out of 2nd gear. I thought Kildress were very poor and offered very little. The game itself was a bit of a damp squib. Zero atmosphere from the supporters, it all felt a done deal before a ball was kicked and Kildress didn't offer much to challenge that thought early on.

Clonoe opened up a 5-6 point gap and never really looked back. Should they have been ruthless and send a statement? Maybe they'll do that against Aghaloo.

The gap between the 2 sides is a lot bigger than that scoreline suggests. Clonoe will brush Aghaloo to one side with ease as well. They should be challenged in the final.

Paddy Hunter twice confused about the inside mark. A commentator that isn't aware the rule of the game.

Need someone to keep him right

Think the ladies game and the LGFA needs a separate discussion page.

LGFA are a law onto themselves, need disbanding and everyone aligned under the GAA, men and ladies.

I don't see the need for Garvaghy discussing integration. Just integrate clubs and be done with it.  Few big wigs in the LGFA will lose a wage but turkeys will never vote for Christmas.

No need for separation, LGFA obviously were fundamental getting the ladies game to where it is now and thriving, it's time to align.

If last night was a showcase for everything good in intermediate football tonight was the complete opposite.

Although competitive the aghaloo vs Fintona game was maybe ruined by the commentators. Then the Owen Roes win was a procession against a junior side.

Hope for much better over the weekend.

Ethan Jordan, take a bow. An epic performance. If Malachy O'Rourke isn't on the phone tonight, he's not doing his job right.

Fancied Eglish but what a brilliant match, Fianna played their part in that as well. It's a long wait now for Coalisland to get the heads up and prepare for promotion playoffs.

Eglish put a marker down tonight.

Quote from: Themanupnorth on September 03, 2025, 10:21:23 PMControlled performance by kildress tonight, you don't need a classic performance to progress to the next round and they proved it tonight.
Definitely an outsider for the championship.

No chance will Kildress be in the hunt for the championship. It's a 3 horse race! (The 3 that came down last year).

One of those will fall tomorrow night. Moy are the 4th horse but probably a distant 4th.

I have a sneaking suspicion for Eglish. Now watch them exit tomorrow night lol. Greencastle are a banana skin for Clonoe but I expect their class to rise to the challenge, they might come out of the game battered and bruised though.

Quote from: TyroneClubs on August 06, 2025, 10:40:52 PM3 north Tyrone teams in D3 played last night or tonight.
Combined losing total of 94 points!!!!

Strabane beat by 31 (4-23 to 0-4)
Urney beat by 40 (9-25 to 2-6)
Clan Na Gael beat by 23 (3-21 to 0-7)

That is shocking.

Even worse that if you add up their 3 scoring totals they still wouldn't have beat either of the winners

North Tyrone have a problem. Even at underage you see a lot of the same clubs in the lower divisions and taking hammerings.

It's probably something that needs addressing by the county board to offer assistance.

Hearing Stewartstown have released Audi Kelly from the managerial hot seat. They didn't get much of a "new manager bounce" last night.

An internal arrangement now. Preparation for junior or hope of saving intermediate status?
