United are going to win this League by default, the best of a very poor bunch or another way to look at it the least worst

::)

Your a top class contributor on here aren't you.
You slag off people from council estates on one thread and use rolly eyes as a opinion on another..
Have you anything constructive to say about soccer or are you just a idiot?

Just as well Chelsea had a good start to the season, otherwise they would be in a relegation battle with Liverpool..
Far cry from the great Champions League semi finals these clubs served up.

Whatever takes them past Liverpool in the titles  ;D ;D

though the Pool could over take them on Championship titles (old second for you young ones)

Title odds now

Ah yeah I know it doesn't matter how or why you win something(just ask Meath fans)
I was just saying is all

You can tell Roy Hodgson isn't a real Scouser.

He'll be looking for a job in the morning.

isn't that what Scousers are? looking for a job living in a council house etc...

Classy fella you aren't you.. Is everyone who lives in a or was raised in a council estate jobless?

I went to a fairly rough school in Carlow town.

That's like saying you climbed a mountain in Kildare.

You don't know Carlow town very well I'd say

I dunno what type of school all you guys went too, maybe it's more of a accepted thing up North but I was never hit by a teacher while attending school, and I went to a fairly rough school in Carlow town.
I'm talking 25 years ago as well not recently.

This current Liverpool squad is more than good enough to be competing higher up the table, its crazy to suggest otherwise IMO.
They have more than enough talent there to be at least challenging for 4th spot.
It is obvious to me as a outsider anyways that the players have no faith in Hogdson and it wouldn't matter what players they brought in under his management this Liverpool team is going nowhere but downwards.
I'd have no fear that with a manager that the players believe in that Liverpool squad would not need that much changing about to get them back up to the Top 4,it would need a bit more to get back to be in a title race but I'm sure most Liverpool fans would settle for a Top 4 finish to start with!

Beano McDonald.

Very true, one of the best talents I have ever seen, such a shame he didn't fulfill his potential.
In fact Laois more than any other county in Ireland has had more talented footballers who never reached their potential.
I would have loved some of them to be playing for Carlow, really Laois should have won at least 1 All Ireland from 2003 - 2007.

Last night's performance provides as much evidence as needed that Chelsea ran scared of United and used the weather as an excuse not to meet them.  They are a complete shambles at the minute and could well have lost that game by 5 or more.

I'd say Ancelotti is about 2 more losses from the sack.  Like Avram Grant only a CL win can save him now as it looks like their title challenge is over.

I still think- yes even after last night- we'd have beat United last week. Chelsea never called the game off by the way. You just can't decide 'ah *k it, I'll not bother today' and call a match off! It was the council (LA) ad the police who pulled the pin. If you check there were 6 or 7 other games off last week too!!

Helps when the Chief of police is a Chelsea Fan & take it from me.. United would have beaten Chelsea if the game was played last week.

And who the f**k are you  :D

I expect he'll get a club closer to his home in Murkeydive. Blackburn the most likely at present if his reported severance contract allows him to work immediately.

Jaysis I'd like to think the Hammers are a more attractive option than Blackburn, despite our lowly position atm..

Don't shoot the messenger fellas. I merely repeated a joke that was forwarded to myself.

So you have no filter, no valve, no means of intercepting what flows through you. You are, in fact, a tube.

That's one of the best put downs I've ever heard, nicely played Hardy. Awful "joke" incidentally SM.

He called him a tube...hardly a great put down.
What was the joke anyway

I agree with you. Benitez is better than Avram Grant.

Yeah I think so too,I like Grant but he isn't cutting it with West Ham,might be a better No.2
Rafa could be good for West Ham,doubt he would come though I'm sure there are bigger clubs who could offer him more.

Quare amount of fellas on here haven't much of a clue about soccer it seems.

Rafa is a decent manager I can't see how that would even be up for debate, things aren't going his way at the moment much in the same way soccer teams themselves have rough patches but he has already proven himself to be a top manager, his record speaks for itself or do some of ye armchair fans reckon because you are a ace at Championship Manager on the Playstation that you could do better?
I am a West Ham fan and I would certainly love him to come to Upton Park as Boss.
