I think a massive issue for Tyrone is the full back position, not an easy fix as you can't just make one. The last few years through club football the standout has been Peter McCaughey so it's good to see him get a call up.

Nothing new, has been happening for years. Arva finished third in Cavan senior league the year they won Junior All Ireland.

Late to the party, unbelievable display by Loughmacrory only one team in that final. Cathal Donaghy by a landslide has been player of the championship, yesterday he put on a show. The real highlight for me was the maturity shown in the last few minutes holding onto the ball and not panicking. On a side note I was in the stand yesterday beside quite a few Trillick ones, couldn't believe the complaining about Mark Loughran they done. Really? He kept Trillick in the game!

Down and Fermanagh both had packages of £25 for all three finals (Fermanagh £40 for all games across junior, intermediate and senior). While in Tyrone, for finals alone we have had to pay £17, £18 and £19 totalling £54. Genuinely a disgrace, the county board should have a very hard look at themselves. Every individual involved in Tyrone Tv should hang their heads in shame.

Here to be fair to Carrickmore they are still in it. A lot of us including myself completely wrote them off pre championship and rightfully so they were woeful in the league. However, they are motoring rightly shame about Fullerton great player to watch when he's on song.

Quote from: Mountfield Munter on October 12, 2025, 04:58:45 PMNever seen a more arrogant cocky asshole in my life than Martin Conroy, a complete disgrace

Martins work for the weekend was already done. Shafted Cookstown yday with a 2 up breach near the end that never was (one of three he made against them + a black card)

How he was ever considered to be on the team of officials beggars belief. Concocted a match report after a minor c'ship game earlier in the yr full of lies  to get them suspended & was caught out lying as one of them was mic'd up & recorded him. They wer cleared but no action against Conroy.

To even think he cud act with impartiality yday is insane.

That's one of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories I've heard. If that was the case surely he shouldn't be allowed to referee? More than happy to be proven wrong.

I was at the game, Eanatta was very consistent in his calls. Can't really give out much about that. However, saying that I thought Eanatta was let down massively by his umpires and linesmen. Three stonewall breaches from Loughmacrory ignored. It's up to them to make that call not him.

Quote from: Grace Murphy on October 11, 2025, 11:18:09 PMThere'll be a fair few lights on in the early hours around Carrickmore over night. They will be pacing the floor wondering if the time has come for Lough to fulfil there destiny.

Carrickmore Waiting to applaud their troops off after their league game was a strange thing to do.... Lough have been replaying that now for about 2 weeks.

Lough sleeping sound! Win by 5

I nearly choked on my drink when I read that supporters actually applauded their team after winning a derby? That's a complete disgrace, hopefully those Loughmacrory players haven't been scarred by that experience.

I'm not surprised as when Galbally played Carmen some of their supporters clapped Everytime they scored. Many Galbally supporters with young children had to leave as they didn't want their children to witness such hooliganism.

If Loughmacrory win I hope they don't sink to that level and applaud their team of the pitch. I have no problem with those who support or applaud their team when watching it on tv in the comfort of their own home but if you go to a game you should show no emotion incase you hurt the feelings of the other team.

lol. I enjoyed that. Did u see the video looked like they had won the championship...... not a league game against half a Lough team!

I suppose u take what u can get when ur on you biggest drought in history!

I missed the game this year, however I did attend last years game in Loughmacrory, they done the exact same thing after beating Carrickmore ...... God forbid a team celebrates beating their parish rival. Oh wait some posters don't like it when it's referred to as a rivalry :o

Errigal and Carrickmore final for me. Two games that will be nip and tuck, Lough have the better individual players but Carrickmore bench will win it for them. The injuries in the Trillick camp will catch up them and they'll be caught by Errigal

Quote from: Tyrone Gaa on October 07, 2025, 10:41:31 PMReferees have been disgustingly poor this year, so many costly decisions or lack of clarity form the refereeing team. The Hurson 2 pointer, was that an umpire or referee error. Massive call.

Omagh vs Errigal, too many decisions in that game to go over. Shane used to be the best in the county, those days have passed.

Moy vs Eglish. Seen the video of disallowed Moy goal. Sparky is guessing from distance and guessed wrong. Over ruled the umpire who was reaching for the green flag.

Drumragh vs Cookstown, 2 pointer ruled out.

Players go through the mill all year to prepare for these moments only to be done over by incompetence. Referees need to look at better training and better support teams. Buck has to stop with Shane Dorrity.

To add to this, the amount of one sided referee performances is absolutely frightening

The standard of referees in our county is absolutely abysmal. How game after game are we on the board talking about multiple bad decisions they've made.
