IMO Clonoe had the game won before a ball was kicked clearly had one eye on a semi final.

Beragh were poor, looked unorganised was expecting more.  Niall McElroy had the game of his life.

Aghaloo showed they have fight and wont be a push over heading into the semi final.

Moy Eglish could be tasty, fully except a Eglish v Clonoe final, saying that don't be surprised if it isnt either.

Hearing Beragh are throwing the game tonight v the island. what a weak and fable mindset that is 2 weeks out from championship, shows zero drive and ambition to reach to any heights in football.

Heared a strange one on the site yesterday.

There's a group of Beragh senior footballers who hang around as Furries.

Had to ask the son what a furry is, but apparently you dress up as a dog and act like a dog.
f**k me hi young ones these days.

Quote from: Duffman1 on July 23, 2025, 11:42:24 AMHow was Ruairi McHugh (a Tyrone senior) playing a reserve game?

Making accounts to instantly come on and slander fellas behind a keyboard, im sure you life is exciting.
eagerly waiting for someone from the island to respond to you, get a life.

God forbid a young cub tied up with county all year wanted to get some minutes under the legs.

FYI he didn't play senior championship, so its perfectly legal doesn't matter if he was on the county panel or not.

Now away and get your cape on and back to making beer (Duff man OH YEAH)

This board is full of WOKE SNOWFLAKES.

Back in my day he would have been shamed for how bad his punches were.

Now people are calling for bans, catch yourselves on.

What clubs

Would like to hear what clubs. I have a few in mind.

Have seen somw very poor displays from the kids though with booing and shouting at opposition frees which is clearly allowed by their coach.

Agree some clubs seem to breed the "everyone hates us" slogan from a young age.

What a result for the "stewart" last night. the mighty island didn't know what hit them. they were expecting to turn up and walk over them but the "stewart" had other ideas.

Handbags at the end clearly showing the island couldn't handle their defeat.

Quote from: NotedObserver on June 11, 2025, 09:46:25 AMWould agree. Thought that was strange myself and presumably Hampsey was in a similar position but he was in the stands. Tyrone have plenty of leaders and it was already online that he wasn't playing

I noticed that too with kennedy and i always would have said that current tyrone Panel is clustered with leaders. But it really made me think after seeing that.

Do we really?

Or was it just as simple as getting in the opponents heads. It could mean nothing maybe im looking into it too much.

Quote from: Sean Og Patriots on June 10, 2025, 02:57:28 PMI've been hearing a lot of rumours about various clubs lately. Donaghmore , in particular, have caught my attention. They've got serious potential this year, but unfortunately, a few of their key players are currently abroad. That's a real shame, because with a full squad, I'd have tipped them to win the championship.

That said, Donaghmore have often been a bit timid when it comes to championship performances. I believe they'd need all 15 league games with a consistent lineup and full buy-in from the squad to really challenge for the O'Neill Cup.

As for McShane and Brian Fenton—there's talk of them joining a new team. I'll give you a clue: The river flows backwards.

It's iconic, really, because both players seem to be taking a step back in some ways. Make of that what you will!

You know it makes me wonder is the GAA what it used to be?

Back in my day there was 1 or 2 players going and they were shamed for leaving their club to dawn the colours of another in a far away land, the odd big county star who was being offered silly money which in them days you couldn't turn down and it was understandable. But on your return you may wave goodbye to playing any championship football that year

But every tom dick and Harry is heading away now and it seems to be the normal some lad will fly away for 2/3 months of the year and be back for championship and walk into the team.

The GAA used to be the corner stone of the parish and kids used to dream of lifting the O'Neil cup. I fear now a days they dream of spending summers in the big apple drinking their money away playing Go Games.

Think we need to all calm the jets after the weekend result, yes it wasn't pretty and was very disappointing but are we forgetting what we one last week?

First team to ever beat that mcguiness p***k at Ballybofey in a championship game.

We have not turned into a poor team over night.

Mayo coming off the back of a loss at home to Cavan and  McStay stepping back due to illness it was never going to be an easy game.

We can't be reactive, trust the process Malachy is a fantastic manager and i believe we have the players we need to bring SAM home again, it is a very open championship and probably the first time in years where any of 6 teams could win the championship.

Get behind the team and lets do what we have already done this year and kick Cavan back down the road again with their tails between the Legs

Quote from: FabrizaoGAAmano on May 14, 2025, 02:05:43 PMSee your point, that has been our problem as a few years within the county we have too many similar players. Conor Owens Beragh is a brilliant player, real senior championship calibre of player unfortunate for him hes stuck at beragh no disrespect intended just thinks hes a better standard of player than where he will likely play his football majority of his career (DIV 2/3). Work with a lad from Beragh was telling me hes worried about the upcoming year he can see them going down which i was shocked at, maybe more going on he didnt want to tell me but we all know Div 3 the bedrock can be a tough place to climb out of.

Sometimes players just need exposure to a higher standard, Conor Owens looks to me like someone who could do a great job for Tyrone at senior level

Have heared Owens is for America in the summer. Shot to the heart for Beragh.

What's the pick of the games this weekend? i was thinking of heading to aghaloo/Eglish by all reports aghaloo were very good last week if it wasnt for a Conroy masterclass they would have got over the line.
