What is the attraction in louth is it big money or boys who have been around a load of jobs in down unsuccessfully or a mixture of both?

Iam no expert on these things but i woud think it woud have something to do with the same mangers in down getting jobs over and over an worst still clubs giving these men jobs who do nothing.seems to be all the best ones in louth??look at louth last year getting to sam quarter final,while down won taltenn cup but i think way off a good team.think theres something there??

I did some looking into this and i think their is 9,cahal murray in ardee,stephen poucher in saint mochas,michael magill at geraldines,mark poland in cooley,tom franklin in saint josephs,eamon morgan at dundalk,kevin mckernan at dundalk and the 2 men in the post above

Tom Franklin is with Rostrevor now, but yes him and Martin Farrell were with St Joseph's. R McCartan is with Dreadnots.

I've seen a coach from tullylish is managing a belfast club in antrim league. Its fascinating to hear of all these down managers in other countys. We must be the biggest exporterin ulster? Exactly how many are outside down? And who? Whats wrong with our leagues that they cant or wont stay?

I think Down have it spot on with their Championship formats. The only issue would be scheduling and venues. So much more potential to make the championship season good for supporters and watchers
