Geez, if the C/B lads are reading this forum they may as well stay in bed on Sunday.

It is still 15 against 15, Yeah it's going to be a mighty hard test we all know that, but if you are not totally confident and in a very positive frame of mind thinking you have every right to win this game going into it, then you are beaten before it even starts.

We are where we belong in the Joe McDonagh and there is not even a guarantee we will make the final of that every year.
I was shocked after the first beating by Kildare but then after the Carlow game i was just depressed, i could tell we weren't going any further
One forward playing against Carlow kept us in the game and only for a lucky last minute goal we would not be even playing today.

In the earlier games we were banging in goals against inferior opposition but when it comes to half decent teams we just don't know where the goals is.

We just don't have it unfortunately and it will always be the same with Laois hurling.

Just in case we were getting any ideas that result today will put that to rest. Its bad when a non hurling county like Kildare are able to come down to our own patch and show us how to hurl.
Sounds like we were not able for their physicality, and i think a bit of taking them for granted may also have been at play.

They are doing something right in Kildare and fair play to them.

Got to be some real soul searching now after that.

Another few hammerings today, wow, we are on a roll now,...are there any other grades that want to step up and take a hammering before the end of the month, maybe U15's U12's U9's U6's come on lets join the party.

The County Board must be very happy now as we are at a level of failure at all levels that they must feel very comfortable with.

It sounded like Laois were the team with the virus. Something wrong if you can't get up for game knowing relegation is staring you in the face and would be a disaster for Laois.

I would not give one vote to any of the main political parties in this election, they have shown complete disregard and contempt for the Irish people and as a result Ireland is now on its knees.

The only way to go is with Independent candidates, i realise you have to be careful with which of them to pick from as well, but at least they do and will listen to people's concerns and try to do the will of the people.
Its our only and last hope, otherwise this country is gone forever and not coming back.

Also, Give one vote to your preferred candidate, No number 2's or 3's or 4's etc No Transfers at all, as these go to the main parties and only help them.

It's past time to dump these f**k's out of there as they do not have you or my or Irelands interests at heart

This may be the last chance you have to force a complete sea change for Ireland and show the world that fighting Irish spirit is still alive, If only barely.

That was a game Laois could easily have won it was almost like the players subconsciously thought we do not want to meet Cork next weekend so lets not win this. I know that's not the case as every team goes out to win, but by golly how could a team be so unlucky, goals missed, missed passes and 18 wides
As yer man said on the TV Offaly played more as a team while Laois played more as individuals, that was kind of evident too in a few instances.

I don't know what this team needs to push on and make the breakthrough its hard to know, I do know its frustrating when you look at Offaly similar county to ours and the success they are having. Something needs to change badly or we keep on getting the same results.

With the recent success our neighbours Offaly are having it might shame the Laois fella's in charge to put in a little effort, time to stop scratching your balls and do something, at least pretend you have a small bit of ambition for the county.

Unfortunately, the tactics that were employed could only logically produce one outcome. Cheddar had an inherent belief that there was a "gap" and set the team up accordingly. It's very hard to win if you're trying not to lose.

We have good players but we need high intensity and a positive attitude.

I totally agree with this you get out of it the belief you have going into it and that goes mostly for everything in life sports been no exception.

You could see todays result coming for the last 2 years unfortunately we were getting worse with every game played with the exception of the Antrim game.

I realise we had lots of injuries and non committals and that is challenging for sure but at the end of the day they are only excuses to make you feel better.

Very best of luck to our minors tonight go out and hurl to your potential and just treat it like another game and don't get phased by the occasion.

A win would be wonderful and they can do it too but this Offaly team are strong and talented too so should be a real contest i hope we give it our all anyway and keep the winning streak going.

I think training must be just an excuse to get out of the house for a few hours and socialise because after last Sunday there can't be much football going on.

Saw this comment on another forum from a non Laois person and i think it sums us up alright.

"Typical Laois - one step forward (2019) and then five steps back"
