Beware Omagh-they will be unloading the extra friends, flags and cuddly toys for the semi final. Heaven help Dromore/Ardboe. Imagine the crescendo and outpourings of fanmania from the St Enda's facebook site if they make the final

If it's the former, then it's a penalty, if it's the latter, it's a 13 metre free.
Have to say the referee had a shocker today. Gave a free in for Dublin for Kerry defender touching the ball on the ground when it should have been a penalty.
Quote from: winghalfback on September 17, 2011, 08:54:14 PMYou must be one hell of a fit wing half back. One full stop at the end of that rant. Class act!Quote from: Up The Middle on September 17, 2011, 08:31:52 PMQuote from: scout on September 17, 2011, 08:26:46 PM
fair dues to DKB today, two poor teams to be honest as in the grand scale of things, but from what i can see bar the odd older player on each side, two very young teams, so maybe if they can keep senior status for 2 years or so,(i know DKB are safe this year & moortown in a play-off) but if they both can, maybe theres good times ahead....Heard that the row at the end was due to paddy Gervin, by all accounts he's a hard man to like, by my sources anyway, im sure people will disagree with that, but just putting it out there!
If you don't know him personally what was the point in even saying that.
i would say it started because moortown couldnt take their beatin like in the last 5-6 mins they resorted back to their rugby style tactics and when damien crozier hit colm robinson in the face he deserved to walk what was he arguing with ampire about after that and as far as paddy gervin goes i know him personally and he does not deserve some tool come on here spouting drivel about him paddy is a hard working member for derrylaughan right through the youth system and how as a helping hand with the seniors maybe a bit of respect for the man especially as you dont even know him maybe an idea would be to go to your own club and take a leaf out of his book with the work he does would suit u better.

Back in the late 90's a Fintona player was successfully sued by an opponent who had his jaw broken by him in a tournament in Eskra. I know the Fintona guy in question and it was quite out of character for him, but he learned that there was a price to pay for his actions as the man he struck had to take time off work with loss of earnings. There's something in the back of my mind about a Beragh player taking a court case on in similar circumstances a few years later, not to mention a case of several Drumragh players coming off injured in a league game as well.
Quote from: winghalfback on September 06, 2011, 12:30:20 AMI've heard it all now- 'great' reserve teams in Tyrone club football
I see in teamtalk mag Errigal are the favourites for the reserve chmpionship now. A good team some great young players on it but is it warranted several great teams still in with a shout
Quote from: carmenabu on September 03, 2011, 06:58:34 PMWas it not 1985 that they won it?Quote from: stillsenior on September 03, 2011, 06:38:04 PMQuote from: clarshack on September 03, 2011, 04:44:28 PMQuote from: orangeman on September 03, 2011, 04:21:17 PM
Well done Stewartstown today winning the Og sport - magnificent achievement.
thanks orangeman, it was brilliant to beat the best of ulster at maghera today
the results were:
group stage:
harps 5-8 slaughtneil (derry) 0-5
harps 4-2 newry shamrocks (down) 1-2
semi:
harps 1-10 newry shamrocks 2-6 aet.
newry were in semis as best runners up and this game was actually level at the end of extra time as well. both teams were then told that the next score would win. thankfully we got it!
final:
harps 4-11 donaghmoyne (monaghan) 1-6.
na rossa of donegal won the plate section.
does anyone know what teams from tyrone have won the ulster og sport? i remember donaghmore winning it in 1989 but there must be more?
Omagh won it in 2007 and Naomh Mhuire in 2008 and 2009 afaik
Carmen won it in 1986
Quote from: Pharoch Phantom on September 03, 2011, 08:59:11 AMVery good- I wonder would you be referring to the virtual game Killyclogher won a few years backQuote from: gethimaf on September 01, 2011, 06:52:02 PMQuote from: aChairde on September 01, 2011, 11:48:37 AM
Gonna have a lash at predicting a few results - based on my previous form I certainly wouldnt put money on it though!
Derryloughen/Eglish - Derryloughen as eglish have nothing really to play for and too important for dloughen
Dromore/Donaghmore - Dromore comfortably to keep a good role going
EC/Clonoe - Possibility of being a great game in an otherwise dull league weekend. EC hurting and dangerous and clonoe will be determined to keep winning, clonoe by 3.G'Castle/Ardboe - Repeat of cship and im guessing on a repeat of the result.
KClogher/Moortown - Same as the top fixture with Moortown having most to play for. Fancy the st malachys to win this one.
Moy/Carrickmore - Moy need the points desperately but Carrickmore are in a winning way that they wont want to end. Unfortunate for Moy the way the fixtures have went. Carmen by quite a bit.
Omagh/Coalisland - Total damp squib, both teams would be foolish to show anything before their next big meeting, fancy Omagh to put more emhasis on it so them to win the battle but not necessarily the war.
Trillick/Cookstown - Both these teams could be doing with the 2 points for different reasons. Still fancy Trillick to secure the points with a narrow win.
Ill wait to after sat and have a go at Cship games if I dont embarrass myself completely with these.
Dont think the game is going ahead
Fancy st malachy's to beat killyclogher? The result has already been sorted. I wonder will it be played at all. The loughshore clubs have some 'interesting' history when it comes to results against killyclogher.
