Both were clear and obvious black cards. Unfortunately the ref only penalised 1. Kerry teams do tend to get these breaks

Quote from: gallsman on January 03, 2026, 05:46:23 PMFair play to Dingle but that's an all time collapse from Boden that they may regret for a long, long time.
strolling through Leinster didnt help them - Dingle are battled hardened.

Having said all that they were home and dry but couldn't manage it out. Completely lost their way in midfield and 1/2 backs

Quote from: Blowitupref on January 03, 2026, 05:07:26 PMGreat fightback by Dingle but how was that last free missed?

FT Ballyboden 1-20 Dingle 1-20 extra time coming up.

Was never a foul either.
if anything it was a free out for a pull back. Glad that didnt decide it.

Dingle left a few scores behind them near the end too

Quote from: gallsman on January 03, 2026, 04:51:43 PMHe blew the whistle and the Boden lads stopped accordingly. One of the defenders stuck hands up at it half-heartedly. You've no idea what would have happened if he hadn't blown the whistle, same way you've no idea what he blew the whistle for.

And he took 7 steps.
Are you in the ref's union. We don't know what would have happened but we do know that the ref got a big call badly wrong

Its not just that they've lost his first 3 games but how they lost them. He probably should be sacked tonight

ON the semi final its Brigits 8/11 and Scotstown 6/4

Scotstown will have to come back down to earth quickly but carry huge experience this time. They've come through open games and battles. They've now been taken to ET 3 times but in each of those times they were caught up rather than doing the catching. They even have a penalties win. Closing out games is a problem but they're still winning. I'll have a nibble at 6/4

No issue with the time but what about the overcarrying. Scotstown will be raging

Quote from: thebigfullforward on December 06, 2025, 05:38:27 PM5 at the minimum maybe being generous to Athy. Christ they are poor. Don't think Ballyboden are amazing either
the transfers give them a big lift. 3 starters i think ? Poor first goal to concede but the goalie did redeem himself with a great save near the end of the first. Athy totally lost their way in the 2nd half so its hard to know how good Ballyboden are.

Quote from: tyroneStatto on November 30, 2025, 06:26:42 PMFor what should be a very experienced team Scotstown appeared very naive at times today. Can't see them beating Kilcoo based on that.

I thought Newbridge would have given Kilcoo a serious rattle, Winter football
is tough though.

Kilcoo mullered them last year. Not sure Scotstown will have anything new for them this time.

EDIT: Sorry, read that as Scotstown
They have the 3 minors that they have brought through for starters. I think this is as strong has Scotstown have been but as a few others have said they just struggle to close games out. They made loads of bad decisions today that they got away it. Kilcoo wont be as accommodating
