Quote from: SouthOfThe Bann on December 07, 2025, 02:50:31 PMThat's bullshit of the highest degree there.

Questionable foul in the first place

What a nonsense way to win and lose a provincial title. The over the top rules added into the game in short space of time has made poor refs more confused than ever.

Ballyboden will take care of that Dingle side next.

Quote from: thewobbler on December 06, 2025, 11:54:30 PMDo you ever wonder...

Giving a 32 year old a mega money contract. Possibly the best player in the club's history. The ultra reliable edge of a free scoring team.

Then a few months later they dispense the best part of half a billion gathering up 3 players who should enable freescoring.

I can understand the former move completely. I can understand the latter move completely.

But together. No. That's just madness.

It's Manchester United kind of stuff.

Who was the last 20 goal league scorer for Manchester United? The unprofessional attitude in public of Salah now is similar to how Ronaldo acted before he jumped ship to the Saudi retirement league.

Quote from: weareros on December 05, 2025, 05:40:15 PMIreland should never go back. It's telling that the organisers and countries like Germany and Austria will put the views of Israel ahead of the likes of Ireland and Spain. It's absolute culture washing. It's shite anyway, but just got a few trailer loads worse. I hope that is the end as far as Ireland is concerned. Put that money into a quality homegrown music show.
What's another year?

The group stage in the World Cup now also as bloated as Donald Trump's face.

Accepting/receiving a trophy from FIFA is straight out of his friend's play book Vince McMahon with his kiss my ass club.

Hard to warm to a penalty shootout to decide a knockout championship game.

Quote from: RedHand88 on November 25, 2025, 07:31:25 AMWorst league in years

Lets be honest the league is as mediocre as last year however supporters of the one consistent team (Arsenal) are unlikely to be as irascible as Liverpool supporters was this time last season when it was pointed out to them.

The one improvement on last season is we might get a relegation battle this season.

So is that the way it works if your English team of choice wins do the supporters of the other English teams just say worse league ever. Nearly as bitter as when Tyrone and Armagh last won sam, worse championship ever, folk are pretty petty, no matter what team wins they are deserved champions, such it up.

Perhaps the mindset of RedHand88 a Liverpool supporter.

I call what I see from a fair, honest and neutral point of view.

4-1 defeat at home to PSV  :o

From reading the match preview

QuoteBefore tonight PSV had won only one of their past 14 away games against English teams and that win a 1-0 against Tottenham in the Uefa Cup last 16, first leg in March 2008.

Quote from: Capt Pat on November 25, 2025, 08:32:52 PMCity picked a weak team to take on Bayer Leverkusen at home and are trailing 1-0. They will have to bring the stars off the bench to win this one.

It's what the group stage of the Champions league has become pure shadow boxing.
