I'd say it would be feck all more advantage than Tullamore would be to Rhode. Most strong club teams would be very familiar with their county ground.

Twould be nice to see though, I love to see either home or away games rather than just neutral venues.

If it's in Newbridge I think you'll be surprised at the size of the Moorefield support, all cramped up on the Town terrace, they can be quite vocal and often give the Moors a lift when they most need it...

St Conleths would give a distinct advantage to Moorefield as Moorefield have played an awful lot games there plus it's right bang in the middle of their home town...

Anyone know where this is on? Portlaoise?

Just their whole negative attitude towards Arsenal, every time Eboube made an error they just pounced on it, started calling Henry a "big game bottler", they just kept accentuating Arsenals failings over and over again set pieces, perfect goal, can be got at etc etc etc

Lou Macari was literally saying Henry was a diving cheat, he was just negative negative not in the slightest bit constructive in his critisism and offered no tactical insight into the game whatsoever but as Walcott was British the sun shined out of his ass, for an Arsenal fan it was just a horrible television experience

Jesus Arsenal were brutal last night, very frustrating to watch. Anyone else listen to the Setanta commentary, totaly negative about everything Arsenal and spent the whole second half given Eboube dogs so was delighted to see him score. Lou Macari you haven't a clue!!!

QuoteWho's playing for Moorefield that we'd know Dinny???

Not big on superstars a few intercounty players Roly Sweeney probably the "biggest" name, also Kevin O'Neill, Pa Murray, Ross Glavin and Kenny Duane. The are managed by former Kildare player SOS Dowling, I'd be a big fan of Galvin another player treated poorly by John Crofton. Daryl Flynn in midfield is one for the future, a very promising player.

Won't happen though, Moorefield are a very good side...

Great result, don't think anyone outside UCD wanted a different result. I think Moorefield will win their semi, should be an interesting final.

Gilberto was a loss on Saturday, Arsenal don't need to change their style they just need to defend better, it's one thing believeing you can out pass and beat any team but you have to defend as well, Newcastle took their chance well and in Given had the best player on the pitch. The title is probably beyond them but this experience bodes well for the future.

Watched it yesterday morning, Harrington was as relaxed as I have ever seen him. The Japanese coverage was a bit odd, would replay Tigers swing fron about 800 different angles  :-\

QuoteAnother enduring image for me is also against Kildare (sorry Dinny) on the shocking wet day. It was scrappy, Galway or their opponents not playing great but he was roasting his man and demanding the ball at every turn from his teammates. Real leadership. And like all the best players, a citeog

He was fantastic that day, Kildare tried everything legal and illegal, John O'Mahony though made sure the linesman knew what was going on resulting in John Finn been sent off. That Galway team broke my heart but those two boys and Ja were class personified..

Rooney is genuinely a great player

That English media hype bullshit annoys me, he has potential to be a great player, nothing more nothing less, he has won nothing in his profession. As Roy Keane would say you judge a player at the end of his career and assess what he has won and contributed to the game.
