Jaysus lads this is poor stuff from us. Early days I know but...

Found our feet and dominated the last 15 mins of the 2nd half. McKiernan dominant in the middle, mackey doing well and Dunne getting some great scores. Would like to see some more spread of the scores though, no real threat from any other player.

According to one of the boys on Cavan thread this was our team...

FJMcLoughlin.BSankey.TMorrissey.CBrady.AO 'Connell.PMcEvoy.PGraham.KDuke.DMcVeety.CConroy.DTalbot.SMurray.CMadden.EO'Reilly

I would say 3/4 central players missing like jack Brady, turloch Mooney and Cillian Clarke. Will be interesting to see how Cavan would do against Longford if they first beat Offaly.

Armagh, 20 points, January 2006.

If you think so fine, there are always exceptions I suppose. Seems unlikely to me is all.

Longford 2-11 Roscommon 0-04

Incredibly slow start to the year for us but it's better to throw these results up early in year rather than late. We'll improve but we won't get a shot at Cavan now (or they us) which is probably the most disappointing aspect.
Surprised with that result. I think if you are getting bet by 13 points this close to start of championship then I don't think you can be considered serious contenders.

Cavan 2-15 Leitrim 0-2.

Awful hammering for Leitrim, even if its only a pre season warm up.

Rumors floating about the Imperial over Christmas that Ray Cullivan is leaving Ballyhaise. Any truth in that, does anyone know? BallyhaiseMan?

I thought he left them last year just as the championship started? He left Cavan once or twice two.

Its not the media that are the problem with ignoring this. The dissident republican groups will use it to mobilise the youth and just like love ulster they will move into the city center. I wonder how can the cops let this joke of a protest go ahead knowing the hassle that will probably result, would the psni allow sinn fein to protest on the shankill? If I were Willie I'd wear armour and bring more than 100 of his inbreds with him. He might have to run for cover into leinster house.

I think we should get 40 or 50 people to put on gorilla outfits with sashes and run around Willie and his mates throwing bananas and beating on their chests.
