Malone, that is part of the reason Joe is not so popular anymore.

Naka, as I stated in one of the threads, S Kernan will throw over a couple of beuatiful scores but his laziness is unbelievable. On Sunday compare the work rate of the number 10 for Armagh and the number 11. If McIver has his tatcics right, the Donegal CHB will be key.

Not singling you out Corn as 2 or 3 people have mentioned workrate, but the notion that all HF's have to be workhorses is a total nonsense IMO, one really good one is plenty, Tyrone have Dooher, Kerry Galvin and Armagh O'Rourke. A CHF should be the focal point of attack, his defensive duties should be minimal.  Having said that Kernan is just not good enough at the minute.

I can't believe that Donaghy will start at FB, I hope that's a joke, he wasn't the strongest link in the U21 defence, has something changed in the past month or so ???  Toner FB, Lavery into MF seems simple to me.

I'm having a problem with my computer and seeking some/any help or advice! When I try to log in, the computer seems to be in some sort of safe mode, and the wallpaper/background picture appears to resemble a photo negative, with all the icons and font large in size. When the computer starts up, there is a window opens which reads,

'Rftray has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Rftray will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer' .

Attempts to restart the computer have no effect. I should add, to further complicate matters, that although the keyboard is working, the mouse is not, which obviously adds to the difficulties.

The computer operating system is windows 2000. The computer itself dates from early 2001, and the spec reflects that. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

The B match tonight away to Keady in the championship has a 6.45pm throw in.  Meeting in Abbey for 6.  (only found out this morning as the Irish News didn't carry a throw in time yesterday)

He also had a telling contribution when introduced in the All-Ireland club final.

Brought on meaning he didn't start for his club! yet he can take one of the most pivotal positions on his county team  ???  Like Donagh I've actually defended him a fair bit on here and I wouldn't be for writing him off just yet, but he's plainly not up to it at the minute (and I'll be delighted if he proves me wrong on Sunday).

Uladh I sincerely hope you are wrong with that lineup.  F Mo?? holy jaysus

I've been saying long before Donegal won the NFL that we would get a gubbing in this fixture, if anything, I'm even more pessimistic.  If S Kernan starts if could get embarassing(I don't think he will start), but you never know he might have a stormer.  Toner will be starting from what I've heard and I don't expect McGeeney to start.  What's the chances of Ginny ann loughran starting at FF :-[ Joe defintely favours a target man of some description, there aren't many options, Lavery or possibly even Toner?

The one big thing going for us is that we are being witten off, it's manna from heaven for Big Joe- an ideal motivating tool. Team I'd expect to see:

Hearty
Mallon, Toner,McNulty
AK, McKeever, Duffy
MCGrane, Lavery
PMcKeever, Marsden, MOR
Oisin, Loughran, McDonnell

I'd love to see Michael O'Rourke in the FF line, but that's not going to happen.  I'd also love to see Vernon play(and he will at some stage I'd imagine), but in the HB line not the forwards.

Had a nice wee bet on Waterford yesterday, only got 5/2 in my local bookies which was disappointing as they were 4/1 on Thursday with PP,think the prices shortened when Clare announced a team with 9 debutants.

The British Media are making shit up as they go along I reckon.  From reading some stuff the Brit MEdia are cracking up with the Portuguese police as they have this peculiar custom of not telling the media their every move ::) as it may have an effect on any future court case (the same law apparently exists in the UK but is ignored).

It must be terrible for the parents(father of 3 myself), but like many others here I've been thinking what the f**k were they playing at and I totally agree that working class parents would have been slaughtered in the media. It does show how fucked up priorities are when this case dominates every news programme  24 hours a day and the world the way it is.

I'm heading on Hols to Cork that Saturday (from Armagh) and the AA routefinder has the quickest route heading that direction; what does the traffic be like, is it best avoided or what?(although I do plan on leaving Armagh about 5am or so) would I be safer heading down through the centre of Ireland?

B's won tonight 2-11 to 1-3, no report as Rufus sr is doing the needful for the locals.  Good overall performance tonight, best for Harps Jamie Black, Ciaran Clifford(1-2?), MArty McKenna(0-4), Matt Cartmill(1-1), Stephen Druse(0-1), and Darren Ward(0-2).

Championship next week Wednesday away to Keady, meeting at Abbey for 6.30, 7.30 throw in.

The B game tonight has been switched from Middletown to Abbey Park, 7.30 throw in, meeting up for 6.45

the full back line for Armagh yesterday was Moriarity, McNulty and that Granemore lad (can't remember his name, it is monday afterall)

Please tell me it was Toner and not McClelland :-[ If McClelland is anywhere near the first 15 v Donegal we're doomed.

Armagh / Re: Armagh Club football & hurling

Don't know what sort of teams were out today, but I reckon the Ogs are the only team with a realistic chance of beating Cross in the championship.(and I dont want a row with Domintee wans).

Excellent supplement in today's Sunday Times.  A few things I noticed form the coverage: Dublin and Tyrone are being virtually written off by most commentators; there is an assumption that Armagh are clearly done; it's Kerry's to lose.

Armagh's achievements are excellent for a relatively small county, I for one don't feel the need to compare any achievements against Tyrone's, they deserve great credit for what they have achieved also.  Armagh's achievements should be compared to what we achieved previous to '99.  1 AI, 1 NFL and 6 Ulster's in 7 seasons is an amazing return in the modern era for any county (outside of Kerry), there will always be the feeling that another one or two got away; I think we have enough emerging talent to be a force for a fair while yet.
