QuoteBit of a shocker for the minors last night Mike...

Indeed 11 points up and still lose is not good, something not right in our Minor and U21 teams the last few years. Hopefully the Seniors can keep our flag flying.

Kerry haven't won a minor since 1994. All they want is to unearth two or three players every year. When they don't do that it's time to worry.

True about the minors however Kerry got plenty of Senior players from the under 21 success in the 90s

All dislke and biase aside I think Kerry are an aging team and won't do much this summer

Brave words before a potential trip to Killarney.

I'm surprised Fergie allowed Rooney on a social internet site, afterall he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Typically cagey final affair, Braga's plan (only plan) was to keep a clean sheet & once Porto scored  you could only see one winner. for the ones that went how many empty seats was there?

Yes where all well aware these matches don't come cheap to host however when will we draw a line & say that should be a set price?

As already stated on this thread it's a Div 4 team playing a team just got relegated to div 3 so both set of fans will be low on confidence, when most of these fans discover the price they will give it a miss.

IMO a 30 euro seated ticket should be for a more high profile game in the latter rounds.

Munster Minor Semi-Finals results tonight.. Tipperary 2-12 Kerry 3-8; Cork 1-16 Clare 0-06.

Some result/performance by Tipp, they were 11 points down at one stage but came back to win by one.

To be far both herself & Phil are looking well for their age.

Braga only accepted half of their allocation & Porto sent back 2,000 tickets

30 euro for the stand in the Sligo v Leitrim is far to much! GAA main target should be to get bums on seats & in doing so they would make more money than those turn away prices.

Not so long ago an All Ireland semi final was 30 euro or less for a seat.

Seven Leitrim players will make their senior championship debut in this game, it's safe to say no other team in Ireland will be having that many newcomers.

Hughes slams Ulster Council's "astonishing" decision

Referring to the Council's unwillingness to change the throw-in time of Saturday week's Ulster SFC meeting with Armagh, the Down star believes provincial chiefs have shot themselves in the foot by refusing to avoid a clash with the Champions League final.

Speaking to The Irish Examiner, Hughes blasts: "The Ulster Council should definitely have moved the game. I don't understand that. I just can't understand why they did that.

"Why take money off the gate? Why take people away from the game when there's absolutely no need to do it? Why not put it on at 3 o'clock on the Saturday or why not put it on at 5 o'clock even?

"Why not let people go to the game at 5 o'clock and go home or go to the bars then? Economically speaking, from a financial point of view, it just doesn't make sense.

"We're living in the 21st century. I can't understand the thinking behind it. At the end of the day, realistically, FIFA aren't going to move their match so the GAA have to. We're a small organisation; we have to make the most of the population we have so that people will actually go to the game. They're cutting off their nose, they really are.

"You'll have your hardcore supporters but it probably won't be anything more than would go to a national league game. It's astonishing.

"They had no problem conceding when it came to opening up the ground to other major sports. That's the reality. And they were bigger issues - far, far bigger issues - and rightly so, so changing a throw-in time ... I just don't see the big problem."
